Finished my 4x4 Labs bumper.

Finally finished my hood refurb. Repainted and clear coated. All new rubber, washer nozzles with line, hood insulator, clips, and struts. Capped off with a new hood deflector.

I took off the factory running boards and mud flaps. I am going to look around for new mud flaps that don’t have the running board cut out.
I also took apart the right rear interior during a hunt for a rattle (found it, new exhaust had to be adjusted but now another rattle has shown up, different place) and saw this old speaker which could be original. The thing was nasty so I removed it. I need a stereo and speaker upgrade at some point anyway.

I am currently lucky enough to live up in Aspen and work at a hotel that gave the employees passes to the Food and Wine event up here. Apparently this event was the first public showing of the new Lexus lx550. My goodness is it a good looking car. Cool to see team Toyota is building something cool and listing to what people want finally. Seems like a very similar size to the 80 in person

This doesn’t count as a what “DID” I do with my 80 this weekend until I actually do it tomorrow. I’m planning on heading out to Hidden Falls and riding the trails there. I’d love to meet some fellow forum members if anyone else is thinking of doing the same thing.

You could delete all those hoses if you desmog it!
