Thanks, it's been a fun learning experience journey. The axle rebuild and regear / lockers was the largest project yet.

I can't say enough about the @Delta VS gear, they make it easy to easy to be a fan boy:hillbilly: the bumpers, sliders, console, Panhard, and radius arms speak for themselves. And the Delta team is great to work with on the build.

The Bowfin was an awesome surprise from my wife We just finished a 1500 mile trip up through Oregon I notice zero additional wind noise from the bowfin @dogfishlake roofrack. It came in amazing packaging, was super easy to install and an added benefit is my sunroof is open way more now because is so quiet with the rack installed. It's also much less turbulence with the sunroof open. Patrick was also great to work with via email.

Now if I could just figure out the front end vibration between acceleration and deceleration the new factory/ double carden Drive shaft helped but didn't fix. I'm beginning to suspect my transfer case front output bearing might be causing it. I plan to read lots of mud this week on the Tcase.
Do you know...or have you tried, to be able to stand on the rack without too much flex on those crossbars?

Yeah but if you get AIR lockers think how secure all your air could be!
Actually heard about/thinking about electric lockers so that I would have plenty of extra juice on hand...kind of like batteries, I guess.

Finally got around to having these brackets welded on. Complete game changer. Cruises like a caddy now. Only problem was I forgot it pushed the axle forward an inch.
Luckily I had a spacer laying around from my old first gen runner. Feels a little sac religious using a spacer on a $400 driveshaft but this is life

I love my RAM mounts!!!!! I didn't even think about a spacer when I welded my mounts in. But my rig is also part time.

Anyone going to be on the Mojave Road this weekend? Heading out with a taco, a tundra and and some form of heep or two.

Potential dumb question alert: are these pointless/redundant if you have caster correct bushings already?

Yes. However caster bushings are known to fail within a few years depending on use. Caster plates are another fix as are replacement arm such as Delta V

I had ome correction bushings prior to these with a 2 inch lift and the truck still kinda wandered on me. I had to lift it another inch due to my motor swap and it was all over the place. Mind you I don’t have a front sway bar but with these brackets the truck tracks perfect now. I also did the rear panhard bracket as well so that helps too. Great product and service

A few weeks ago, I took off the damaged fender and prepped for the replacement. It was a good opportunity to clean it up and under the window cowl. A front bumper and sliders are in the future (when I can baseline this episode and make up my mind).

Finally ordered and time for the waiting game. Any while I'm there's to check? Hoping to start adding the fun stuff within the next few months after finishing the baseline.

sounds super obvious and I only suggest it because I chased an issue and should have started here, but i am dumb and didn't... check the timing. Make sure that's in spec once you do the tuneup.

Might do EGR delete while you are there and I would rebuild your fan clutch since the belts are off.

Talked to Rosen a while back and they mentioned they were looking into revising the 80 mount to better fit(not have a gap on the mount and liner). Followed up a few times and still waiting. Played with Fusion 360 and I think I got their mount down and may look at modifying it to better fit and see if I can have one made. This was done off a drawing they sent me. I think it's spot on but I struggled with the notch a bit and doubt it's accurate.
Anyone have this visor and can verify the inner notch is on the correct side? I think I had it right on the other side(thread) but changed it and now think its wrong.... This program is so cool. And free...

Not sure if accurate but exporting to an .stl files says estimated cost is around $15. Kind of cool, looks like you can send it out to print in a material of your choice, low cost before having an aluminum part made.
