Got a state inspection so I can renew registration. Can't believe I've owned her for a year already! Thankfully with my rig being a '94 and OBD1, it's just a "safety" inspection, no emissions. Brakes, tires, lights, wipers...$7 and 15 minutes and was out the door.

Changed the oil and filter...had been about 8,000 miles.

Picked up some fire wood...

Burned some of said wood...

Oh man you guys have to have an annual inspection to renew your rego? That sounds painful!

At least here in western Aus, you just pay your rego renewal via email and thats it. The only time you need to 'go over the pits' for a roadworthy inspection is for new registrations or after major crash repairs...

There's no way my 95 would pass the pits with its current mods (we're limited to 2"/50mm maximum roof lift. So thats me out with 2" suspension and 33" tires!)

Even though we have smog here I still think inspections are weird. They don't care how safe your car is as long as it passes emissions.

CA is getting ready to implement safety inspections, most likely in addition to the smog check program.

Ahh... Cali...... I can see it now, bumpers, sliders, gear..... Where's your front plate, your over weight, are those led headlights....... :flipoff2:

The occupied state of California, Love the weather, hate the politics....... :flush:

Now if Idaho power or WAPA (Kuna or Boise) would just open that compliance (NERC / WECC) position all would be better...... Wow, I can smell the freedom just thinking about it. :hillbilly:

All this talk about boxes and excitement....its not wits end, but it'll do for now. His box comes later :)

Hahaha!!! I totally forgot to include partsouq,!!!

Awesome!

What you working on
Sadly I wont be doing most of the work, but building a brand new engine from scratch plus some other odds in ends. Partsouq will save $$$ during such a project.

Hahaha, right! @Delta VS , @NLXTACY Wits End boxes are like Christmas as a kid x10 for me. I have a wits end box coming today!!!

Any box for the 80 is crazy fun.

Sadly for me most boxes that come for this are repair parts and no fun at all.

Repairs are fun right? If it broke it was an adventure breaking it?

No. I honestly hate making repairs. I've yet to experience a failure on my lc that was an adventure or fun to repair lol.

I've done basic maintenance that I knew needed done when I bought(filters, knuckle rebuild, timing belt) but the few repairs have just been an annoyance.

It amazes me how many of you can't seem to dodge a slow moving forklift and get hung up on it.
Those tiny tractors are sneaky!

Thanks, she will appreciate it. :)
We paid up for the ballistic plastic protective gear.....Lexus body armor.....
Those malls are nothing to be trifled with.
