I saw it, but thought it was unrelated because it said about an 80 bumper...........
It probably would have helped if I had grabbed the right post it quote.

Based on the initial photo you posted, I don’t get what the fuss is about. Make it work.Unfortunately I got a response. They told me to hog the holes out enough so the bumper does not touch the flares. Not sure there is another solution.![]()

Yep my bad, was getting caught up on the thread and replied to an older post. Excited to not read about that anymore.
Damn...at least the holes lined up.Yep my bad, was getting caught up on the thread and replied to an older post. Excited to not read about that anymore.
On a related note I have an avid rear bumper on my 80. No complaints other than the 2” receiver wasn’t square and wouldn’t accept any ball mounts or accessories including my bike rack. I figured it out on my own though and didn’t complain here. View attachment 2715369

I think they lined up but either way I made it work. No issues at all. The spare is super stable (315) I’ve put it through a lot and it’s held up well too.Damn...at least the holes lined up.
Im still waiting for mine. Any issue with the spare being too close to the rear hatch?

That would be sweet never seen one!Great to see! Isn’t someone 3D printing a small black trim piece to cover this tab? I thought I saw one, but can’t find it.

Amazing trail with what looks like amazing company. That's in the 'one day' folder for me as well...beautiful pic.33rd Rubithon. Bucket list item. Went on the Wagon Run led by Steve Pryor. Amazing weekend, that trail kicked my arsse.. If not for greta spotting by Steve, Onur and Justin Pror we would never had gotten through unscathed. If you have not made this run.... make it a point to do so. Hanging out at the springs, trading stories... Man, what a terrific crew.

whats the difference between the slim and full besides the obvious. I assume this is for the height and is there a measurement? For those who haven't seen the rear bumper fill peice.
The full is meant to work with the oem bumper... still needs some work..whats the difference between the slim and full besides the obvious. I assume this is for the height and is there a measurement?
Nice build, I have one in the same color. Correct me if I'm wrong but did they paint the bottom black to make it look like it has sliders? It does look nice tho with the black/burgundy two tone color. Not the weekend but anybody know who this is? Nice build!View attachment 2710887
Looks good. Can you post a rear side shot facing side of spare and one showing the side of bumper and how much it sticks out from body?Yep my bad, was getting caught up on the thread and replied to an older post. Excited to not read about that anymore.
