Working on front end stuff. My Delta arms seem temporarily lost in a USPS hold so did the shocks (new Dobinsons 4” lift IMS model), sway bar drop and bumpstop. (Got the coils in a few days ago but haven’t driven on them yet.)

Thanks @Hitit66 for nice quality parts at great prices.

Oh nice.. I’ll have to PM him. I was just about to figure out my own bumpstops for that location. Probably would have ended up with hockey pucks. Lol

Is that a inch and a quarter or so you have there?

Actually this was last weekend but i swapped out the old quarter panel window rubber.

This was not a job i was looking forward to. The FSM can sometimes over simplify a task then leave you in the dodo when you are half way through but in this case it was bang up simple. Not sure why i was so worried about starting it.

Pretty happy with the results and the windows open so gracefully. Soapy water helps a lot but man the ends of my fingers were sore for days...

Did you steam it? Use a bit of steam and it will help the wrinkles relax and shrink the leather a bit.

Don’t have a steamer but I might give it a shot if itdoesn’t shrink with a little time

Ghetto painted my flares to protect the weld job. Filled her up with some fine premium gas. Then ran her hard all weekend while enjoying the lovely 76 degree weather we got to experience. She didn't skip a beat! Now it's time to get her ready for hibernation.

Yes, the 1.25" model. Now that I finalized my shock options I actually can go down to 1/2" but will leave these in until I sort that out.

Ha.. eyeballed that pretty good.. Thanks. I ordered a set.

Are you staying with 315s?

Yeah, I really like these 315 Falken tires and with only the 10% UD gears I can't go any bigger and make it up the hills here (West Coast.)

I think I'd like to go 37-38s eventually but will need to commit to axle diff gears when I do it...for now trying to make a "best of 35" tires" rig w/ the Delta arms, tapered coils, longer shocks, and armor. My use is mostly "out there" camping as opposed to dedicated rock crawling, although I could see that changing if I ever build my DD Tacoma more for camping and/or my girlfriend gets more into the wheeling than the camping. For now I'm good with whatever keeps her happy and gets us out there regularly. My primary goal with this round of upgrades is to make the "getting there" more comfortable than the OME setup the PO put in was...it worked great for the first six months I had the rig, but post sliders/bumpers/roof rack it was just terrible at washboard (and the camping locales seem to involve several miles of washboard) and also bottomed out frequently when fully loaded.

I've been eyeing that set for a while, post up another picture as it shrinks!
Do you think it would still be assemble-able with maybe 1/4"-1/2" of foam glued to the existing seat cushions or was it difficult enough as is?

I think it probably would but I struggled with figuring out how to yank the cover over the foam and have it stay in place. I’m sure there is a way, I just wasn’t confident I could do it. The bottoms fit ok; if I had to do it again I’d just order new upper foam
