Removed steering wheel and shift knob for leather replacement!

Great looking rig. You might look at the Prinsu Roof Rack to house the RTT you want, check out the iKamper too.

thanks man. I'm looking at it's twin, Bowfin. And I started out looking at the IKamper mini but the price is a bit much for what you're getting. The torro has a deal for 3k and that includes the annex, the awning, and winter insulation. Plus they almost look identical, inside and out.

Oil/filter change (M1 5W-30 switched to from PO dino, Toyota filter - Blackstone test sample collected), front/rear diff, transfer case fluid change. Front diff looked like original fluid...came out looking like straight dookie (246k). Worth it to change again after 1k or so or just stick to 30k from there on out? Replaced bolt's and washers with the wit's end kits (hex key sockets).

Just wrote a post the other day about the coilsprung airbags... but you'll need to remove your bump stop. Coil airbags work by pressing outwards against the spring, not vertically like a leaf spring bag. The way you have it now will make it ride unbearable, and will most likely just blow the bags out as they have no where to go. Notice that the plastic is a totally different construction than a leaf spring bag as well?

Even with a lifted vehicle, you'll still want the stock sized bag. You do not want it to be compressed vertically between the axle and frame as you have it now.

Straight from the source:

yes, those were preliminary pics with the bumpstop i forgot to remove. Lol, you’re the second person to comment on that. I will edit the post to reflect I removed the bumpstops. Per airlift, 1” gap is necessary to allow for expansion. Thank you, I do appreciate it.

Added some cheap lights I got for Christmas. No they aren't fancy ridged ones or some other fancy brand. But in-laws got them for me for Christmas and I finally had a day off to do it. Even had a 4 year old helper. I wanted some more lighting for when I set up camp or hook up a trailer. Wiring isn't finished. But plan is for them to work when I am in reverse. But also on a switch. So I can use them when needed.

Nice post. Yeah, run it into the hot summer months and change again. I'd be curious how things look then. I run RoyalPurple in my transfer case; I really don't know why but both rigs seemed to like it. Quiet.
P.S. Smart guy getting a Blackstone sample. I think that's the one of the best baseline measurements for a new owner.

Picked up a new-to-me welder and ran some errands. Then I think the starter finally gave up on me. Unfortunately it was parked halfway into the garage at the time.

Tried out my LCP jack adapter for the first time. Works like a champ. Thanks @LandCruiserPhil

Jack Adapters - Land Cruiser Products - LCP

Note: A 7/16" square socket fits perfectly on the Toyota jack extension rod. That, with an impact wrench, lifted the truck just as quick as any floor jack and is a heck of a lot lighter to drag back and forth to the garage :) .

I got a code 71 :bang: I was really hoping to not have to start pealing the EGR onion for a while. No such luck.
Still going wheeling Saturday, Cel or not.

Acquired an auxiliary fuel tank for *I think* the turbo truck. Haven’t decided yet. Gave my brother something to do so I can work on other stuff. Had him remove the fuel pick up/sock and the fuel float/sender. Turned out it came out easily despite how things looked. Little bit of fuel inside but otherwise looked fairly clean. Now I gotta decide if I should paint it or have it powder coated. Decisions. 🤔
