Met my Dad, who drove out from North Carolina, to do some camping together. Even on a busy summer weekend, we found solitude and one of the most insane campsites I've ever seen. Broke in the new-to-me drawer and fridge slide setup and can't believe how tidy and organized it all feels. Slept with my tent wide open too - gotta love New Mexico and the comparative lack of biting insects!

That reminds me, I have some of those mud flaps for sale used.

I put a box fan in the truck to air out the two years it has been sitting there unused. Starting to get motivated to drive it again. Sat in the driver seat making vroom vroom sounds like a little kid.

Those wheels are too cool

Have any pics of the sleeping arrangements?

Dash cover is very well built! and covers perfectly in my opinion.. The only down side is the wait time from South Africa!

Visited Yosemite. I could have easily stayed another week there. What a beautiful place. Had to tap the starter a few times to get her to start. Need to look into putting in a starter relay.

Super jealous of your amazing trip!

Btw change out your starter ASAP, it’s about to give up the ghost. Had the same exact thing happen to me, definitely the starter and not the relay. More precisely it’s the contact and plunger in the rear of the starter, can be rebuilt but easier just to install a good reman.

I got mine from Paul at Equipt. He had it in stock at the time so no wait. Not sure how many he keeps on hand at any time though.
How are you liking that dash cover? My dash has cracked under the AZ sun and I want to do something to protect the rest of it. And hopefully the dash cover will help the AC stay cooler.

I have the cover too and I've liked it a lot. The pockets are handy too. Not sure how much affect it would have on keeping the AC cooler. Not a noticable difference for me at least in that area.
