Yeah I will get to it. Its just that Im working on a house remodel and just dont have time for it now. The head has a hairline crack between cylinder 5&6 so that might be where the issue is...thanks for the encouragement will get there eventually.Well, you've probably read that people say don't use that stuff. In my experience it will clog up the little coolant passages you will see when you do a real head job. I'd advise getting the FSM and doing it right. It's not too hard! If there was "head gasket in a bottle" the 80 Series would be immortal!
I like that. Clean install. I have the same CB in the ashtray location but I have an Pioneer double din head unit I'm not wiling to give up and my new HAM does not have a remote face. So......a clean install is more challenging. Still looking at my options.Run both HAM and CB. Just do a clean install to make your (w)life happy.

Wow! So that's what my tires looked like 30,000+ miles ago. I like those better than mine.
Need opinions...should I keep the stock wheel color or change it up with graphite? The painted wheel is the spare.
Finally finished installing the leather kit for my front seats that I've been putting off for almost two years. Yeah, it's a bit of a pain in the ass to install, but completely worth it.
My seats weren't in horrible condition, but the leather had gotten very hard and my wife was complaining that the seats were uncomfortable. I installed new foam and seat heaters while I was at it. They came out better than I expected.
My only previous experience with upholstery work was on a '68 Cutlass that I was restoring, but these seats were a bit more challenging than those simple bench seats on the Cutlass.

Wife is 5'2" and not at all large. She has no issue with it, says it's not in the way at all.
Bonus on a long trip she can download a movie or 2 to the iPad, twist it to face her, and watch something with headphones.
Technically, at least. Not been tried yet.
Only concern is if it will either prevent airbag deployement or make airbag deployment dangerous. But man it looks awesome.
Just stay away from the wife's good baking pans. And towels.Started the fan clutch mod after installing the Koso gauge. My poor wife. I feel like Kramer cooking his corduroy pants in Jerry's oven.

This is hilarious to me, because I did this exact thing to my 40th spare a few years ago, and then decided to keep the others stock. It's a tough call, as I actually like both looks. I guess you could Plasti dip them first to see if you like the look.Need opinions...should I keep the stock wheel color or change it up with graphite? The painted wheel is the spare.
