Rear door latch was stuck, took it apart cleaned and lubbed it to death. Works fine now ...

I have so much sand i really need to start closing gaps .. sandstorm last trip definitely did not help.

Installed an 80 series steering box on my 60 with the help of @Roxx & @angerhater to name a few.

The used steering box from @cruisermatt really made a huge difference! Steering is way tighter than the 60 box it replaced. Suggest all late model 60 & 62 owners do this mod! It's direct bolt it.

Also re-torqued the Doh'binson suspension hardware, rotated tires and front end alignment.View attachment 4026894View attachment 4026895
This is very interesting! Any ides which part number is the exact fit ?

Was at H.F. during there last big sale and was looking at there clearance table and saw a Badlands ZXR 12000 pound winch sitting there. It was the last day so everything was an additional 40% off the clearance price and I talked them into another 5%. So I walked out the door paying 122 and change. After unboxing it looked like it had never been out of the box everything sealed up like new. I never really looked at getting one but at that price I had to do it.

All hooked up and works perfectly.

Nothing crazy but got the 4runner wiper arm upgrade done. I should have bought them from city racer instead of my local dealer. Even at wholesale i was like $30 above why CR has it listed at. Either way, got it all on and tested out last night in some light rain. The sound of silence is golden. My original arms with Toyota blades would make this super loud squeak on the up wipe every time. It made driving in the rain so awful. We'll see how these wear in, but from the start its a worthwhile upgrade.

Just got power back after 5 days and lots of trees and limbs down. Cruiser didn't want to start at 6°F with the 4bt and no glow plugs or grid heater, but once I got it going each day, it earned its keep as one of the only vehicles in the neighborhood

that could get around on the ice. It pulled several cars out of ditches, and trees out of driveways. Still a lot of work to do yet, but at least finally working towards normal again.

New seat, on sale through Amazon right now. Fits great and way better than stock

What are the adjustments on those seats...forward and back and recline? Any lumbar? This looks pretty close to OEM dimensions, some aftermarket seats are bulky and look way out of place. Looks like a nice option. What is the material they are covered in?

How do you like the gull wing panel? Care to share where you got it?

Great looking cruiser.
Thank you! I love the gull wing windows. Theyre made by Emuwing. They’re pricey but makes accessing gear in the back a breeze without having to mess with the rear bumper swing outs. Comes in super handy. They were already installed from the previous owner. Heres a link I was able to find.

Basic, they use the stock sliders so forward and back with recline. There's no lumbar adjustment but as they are it feels good.
They're a vinyl. Found them from past posts on here lots are happy with them

More pics here with a link to another thread I got the info from for mounting
