Good eye, i've had it on my short list of to-do's and will address it soon. You need to secure your battery with a strap across the top. Loose battery on a rough road can lead to disaster.
Wow, makes me feel like I could try my whole roof. Mess it up.. throw the rack on it. lolRattle cans CAN look halfway decent.... not show quality like @MountNGoat's truck, but an acceptable 6-10 footer is achievable even for a hack like me with a few 2k cans and reasonable expectations. Doing a whole truck this way might get expensive anyway though

This is very interesting! Any ides which part number is the exact fit ?Installed an 80 series steering box on my 60 with the help of @Roxx & @angerhater to name a few.
The used steering box from @cruisermatt really made a huge difference! Steering is way tighter than the 60 box it replaced. Suggest all late model 60 & 62 owners do this mod! It's direct bolt it.
Also re-torqued the Doh'binson suspension hardware, rotated tires and front end alignment.View attachment 4026894View attachment 4026895
What are the part numbers for the front and back doors? I want to make sure I get the right ones and probably a set of available. Mine are original to 1986 and could use some help.Ordered the door seals this AM as well thanks for sharing.
I bought the full set from Trail Tailor. 60 Series Replacement Door Seals - https://trail-tailor.com/store/p30/60_Series_Replacement_Door_Seals.htmlWhat are the part numbers for the front and back doors? They made a noticeable difference with wind noise on my 60 series.

How do you like the gull wing panel? Care to share where you got it?View attachment 4079055
First trip of the year out to local Palo Duro Canyon State Park. Love the golden glow as sunset approaches.
What are the adjustments on those seats...forward and back and recline? Any lumbar? This looks pretty close to OEM dimensions, some aftermarket seats are bulky and look way out of place. Looks like a nice option. What is the material they are covered in?New seat, on sale through Amazon right now. Fits great and way better than stock

Thank you! I love the gull wing windows. Theyre made by Emuwing. They’re pricey but makes accessing gear in the back a breeze without having to mess with the rear bumper swing outs. Comes in super handy. They were already installed from the previous owner. Heres a link I was able to find. How do you like the gull wing panel? Care to share where you got it?
Great looking cruiser.
