It ain't the bush but got ourselves up to Stuttgart to visit the zoo. The rig got unfolded for the first time since Sept 2014 and stayed up. Managed to accomodate the four kids and missus upstairs and me down in the annex on a camp bed - better for the vertigo after a few sharpeners ( Stuttgarter Hofbräu ) Have to make another trip when the kids are older to visit the Mercedes and Porsche museums which were frustratingly just a few mins walk away from the campsite.

Three of the four that were on there were worn, no good at all. Much improved ride!

Checked out Hidden Falls Adventure Park near Marble Falls, TX for the first time yesterday. Nice place!

Hey, I've spent a lot of time at Round Rock, haven't seen your rig. BTW, what type wheels and tires sizes are you running?

The PO spec'd the wheels and tires. The wheels are from Method. Sorry, don't know model# or back spacing. Tires are BFG MTs. They're loud! Prob switch to ATs when the time comes. Here's a cleaner pic...

Mocked up my new drivetrain (empty cases) on a bare 3FE block so I could build crossmembers and figure out where to cut the floor. Turns out the stock FJ62 crossmember works magic!

It may not be the fastest truck, may smell like an old taxi, and may have a bit more rust than I'd like to think about, but this thing sure does look good doing what it was made to do!

Testing the limits of the recently extended rear brake line

Pulled over to let a couple SOA 4Runners pass...not so I could continue taking pictures. For sure not that.

Yeah, that's a good looking wheel and tire combo. What size is the tire? Couldn't make it out from the pic.

Cheers!

Yeah, hard to see in the pic. They are LT305/70 R16 (33"h x ~12"w) BFG Mud-Terrain T/A KM2s.

Is the truck lifted? I've been looking for a PN for a 2-3" lift and Bilsteins. I should come take a ride in your truck...

If you guys do a search, I think I have come across a thread covering that topic. I just don't remember where.
