Removed dash and a few screws to remove leaking Evap core on wife’s gx470

Tedious. Not difficult. Tagging/bagging every bolt. Tons of pics. MrT did us right by making every electrical connector unique. Much easier. Took 8hours to get Evap core out. Replacing cracked dash while in here. It’s a great truck. Definitely not like my other cruisers which are literally 6-8 screws and 1 hour to get to this point.
 
I tag it as per pic and place tag and bolts in zip lock. If confused later on what a zip lock label is, I just scroll thru my pics. Almost makes it fool proof. I never pull electrical connectors using the wires. Always grab the connector. Hate to think how I would find a loose wire.

Yeah, non-kdss. The RockSteady front engine skid plate came with two small plastic 1/4" spacers to help clear the diff drop 1" spacer. I didn't get the zinc plated spacers mentioned on their web site: www.rocksteadymotorsports.com They do offer a full skid plate for KDSS.
Ah, those are diff drop spacers. Gotchya.
Deffinitely a different setup from mine.
Yeah, there seems to be a few options for full aluminum skids, I'm still hankering for a steel front one though...
Need to bump the thing up though, that may help and override the need for skids. Hmm...
 
Replaced my (long overdue, leaking, messy, glad I had a buddy help me get this project started) CV boots.......DONE!
 
In stalled my beefy custom mud flaps today, new ditch lights and new front sway bar links. Had these mud flaps sitting around for a while and just got around to installing them. The ditch lights are much better than my previous cheap amazon pair. Maybe I can get my OPoR sliders on next...

Ordered some plug n play LED inserts for the license plate area and a no smoking ashtray insert. Figure it’d be a decent location for spare change.
