I was literally pulling in to check out a German food truck. Suddenly, no steering. Almost in a parking space so I finished pulling in. Had delicious German food while I waited for the tow truck.I bet that was exciting…
I put LEDs in my 80 series dome lights and it made it like daylight inside.LED in the dome light might actually make the dome useful and not just ornamental!
First of all - you belong here! Not sure if I belong here since part Pig, but attempting to reinstall AC back in.

It's a cobbled together Saginaw POS power steering conversionI thought we just had u-joints? Are you talking about your 40?
No, pretty sure he wants you to buy a different switch for the dash. These are nice dome lights but they are definitely not NOS FJ55 lights as they don't have a switch. I searched for the cover to see what other dome lights used the same cover as the FJ55 and came up with these matches.Hey Matt - are you showing headlight switches w/ the dome lights, as in "turn on your dome light from the headlight switch"?
I have a dome light without a switch. So I have been playing around with 3D printing something close. Reinforced with a piece of aluminum angle epoxied in place. Working out how to affix it. 2.5mm shoulder bolt and low profile lock nut. It does require relieving a portion of the cover about an 1/8”.No, pretty sure he wants you to buy a different switch for the dash. It's probably worth the price just to get the cover (assuming you need one) but calling it a NOS FJ55 dome light is a bit disingenuous.
