Lost the fuel tank cap for my LRA filler. Found this generic one from Autozone. Fits well if the knob is turned horizontally.
SKU number: 1102309

It was the most satisfying feeling of the day seeing all the $hit out like a waterfall.

Been very busy the last few months. We moved in early December after living in our previous place for 19 years. I think my new garage is finally to a place where I can start using it... Meanwhile this old girl has been waiting patiently.

First project is to get caught up on oil changes. Then we can get after fun stuff again...

Digging the blue colour(yes, I spell colour correctly :) ) theme that goes from the truck, Maxtraxx, cabinet handles etc…

It's is insulated and does have a natural gas heater, so I can easily get it to 17°C in no time, during the winter. It's smaller than the previous but the ceilings are higher so I've had to adjust the layout but I'm happy

Heated floors? Lol. I did put down Swiss Trax which seems to help with the cold coming through my feet... ? If that counts? :flamingo:

17C ….. isn’t that where an icicle forms?

I started my 70, brought it up to temperature and then put it to sleep again. I will probably do that once more before it comes out of hibernation .

Today I took out the heater/aircon assembly. Then I wanted to remove the internal firewall and underdash sound deadening but in order to do so I had to remove all the pedal assemblys and steering column.

There is not much left now, just the wiring. I might as well take that out too as it will be in the way for the repairs.

Once the wiring is gone, i'll remove the gas (propane/lpg tank so it is safe for welding/grinding. The propane/lpg tank will not be refitted, it will just be petrol only.
