That's flash - pretty sure on my HJ45 I just found a suitably sized bolt lying around and dropped it in...

Sold my DD Bronco(was a bad impulse buy back when they first took deposits) and am going to DD my Stockish BJ73. It’s life in the slow lane now and way more smiles per mile! Replaced batteries, oil change, fuel filter change. I had to replace the primer pump (think it was the original one). It’s purring !

Anyone have recommendations for a shower tank setup? I’m looking at weekend camping trip use to include scuba diving gear wash off. So many tanks at different prices and don’t know what to look for. Looking at 4-8 gallon size and mount to my roof rack. Cheers!

I’ve been running one of these aftermarket frig / freezer center consoles for several months and in my opinion it’s by far the most useful accessory I have. 😁

I bought a 1993 1KZ-TE Prado maybe 6 months ago, so far I've had a blast with the vehicle. I am by no means mechanically inclined, but I have done a good amount to it. When i bought it the injection pump was leaking at the rotor head, so I had the whole pump rebuild by a shop out of Portland. The injection pump as well as brakes were done by Higgy's out here in Arizona.

After these issues were addressed I knocked out a lower temp thermostat, as well as a 10 blade fan, and flushed the radiator. I've also deleted the EGR, and installed a FMIC kit from Jeff @ Performance Tube Fabrication. Of course the EGR was a nightmare at every step, rounded bolts getting the intake manifold off, just a whole headache. But its done. The FMIC kit is great, the installation was easy, and Jeff was great with communicating installation instructions. I have also straight piped it. Right now it sounds incredible and is running great, I can really tell the engine is breathing SO much better.

This is my first diesel and I did some research on diesel fuel additives, I am going to be using Hot Shot's EDT, but i started with their Extreme Diesel to really lube up the fueling systems. After I used the extreme diesel the engine, I noticed the engine performing way better at lower RPMs. I was getting up to and cruising @ 100km/h at a lower RPM than before. Previously I would have to get above ~2500 RPM to get up to 100 kmh and keep it at 2000 RPM to stay there, now im not even breaking ~2200 RPM to get up to that speed.

All this to say I'm happy with the truck.

Got any pictures of the front mount? Nice to hear there is growing support for these trucks.

Dropped a wrench and shattered the fragile crystalline windscreen washer bottle that was once made out of plastic.

Mine is covered in duct tape, and I'm afraid to look at it. I have a replacement that is for a snorkle body, and have the PN for similar to what you shattered. I'll try to remember to get PN posted up tomorrow, along with my duct tape monstrosity.
