Yes, Hugh, that is the truck. Paid a lot less than the sign on the window, btw.
This weekend I did a full tune-up w/new cap, rotor, wires plugs, air and fuel filters, installed new battery, and we stripped the driver's seat. The drivers seat was cracked inside, with headrest plates busted off, and the frame jacked by some previous fatso slamming in and out. We saved the frame, rewelded the cracks and fixed the headrest plates, and I have a new cushion coming from SOR. Some extra padding and it should be as good as new.
Tonight I did a coolant service, flush and fill, and made sure the heaters all worked. A/C is nice and COLD.
OME full kit will arrive tomorrow, so next weekend will be a busy one with the suspension rebuild and finishing the seat repair. Funny thing is there is a receipt for a seat repair from some shop for $245. They didn't do jack to fix anything, and even lost a bolt.
Also am gonna de-smog the engine and fix up the steering. This thing has quite a bit of play and wanders around a bit, but not too bad.
When the drive train is solid in goes my HAM rig and a nice Alpine stereo with Bluetooth hands-free.
Hope to make a meeting soon.
