It's the "Rustacle" edition...

check the first toyota thread, the guy who built it was on mud. sold the truck back in 2009 for 10000... its got some pretty amazing parts. hopefully most are still working under all that rust lol

Just bought this today... cleaning up and swapping parts to the woody is gonna be a BLAST

FRANKEN62 is a possibility :p

wow, just read the spec sheet on that thing in your build thread, very nice score. Beat -- Yes, but there's more than enough internals to make up for all the rust. What's the plan?

X2. Longfields, 80 Diffs F and R, e-locked F and R, etc... all makes or a very capable rig. Throw some tars on there drive it like ya stole it. You'll need a truck and trailer but you'll get to see places that you've never seen before. :steer::steer::steer:

Very cool. I am looking forward to seeing how the woody transforms.

And I totally think you should cut up the rustsicle and drive it until the frame cracks in half!!

Thanks! yeah im planning on swapping most of the goodies over to the woody for now. hopefully the axles, new tires, etc will be working and swapped by the ACC event.. but dont count on it haha.

Im probably gonna slam it to the ground and make a street cruiser...

jk

At first i was just gonna keep it in the barn to be there when i inevitably brake some small very important parts during woody repairs. I will still probably do that for a while, but everyones been telling me to build rusty into a more cheap and cheerful type hardcore wheeler and that sounds like a much more fun idea :)

Yeah i got SUPER lucky, the craigslist guy won it in a government auction and had ZERO clue what he had... I feel like a a****** for haggling with him when the listed price was already a huge steal lol.

Im also really lucky that the person sold it on mud before.. that list has made it incredibly easy to start checking things that work of the list. Even though i dont know what half the stuff is lol. I SHALL LEARN!!!

 everyone. ill try and getting road worthy in the nesxt couple weeks and maybe have like a work day or something. It might actually be fun since I'm old enough to buy many manu :beer::beer:

She still has her TDI, but I got rid of the Tacoma and got a more family friendly vehicle. We have already taken it to Charleston for a weekend. It is nice having a bigger SUV to road trip in.

Saw this 70 in TVille.
Waffle House, pretty we'll outfitted for S. Ga hunting. Guy was shocked I knew what it was. And that it was a turbo diesel.
