Wow never seen that one. We really need to get the club business cards redone. Would certainly help on getting the word out again.

Wouldn't that be funny. Me passing out club cards and I still haven made it to a meet.
Not at all I was ridding an Indian motor cycle and passing out cards and going to meetings events on the thing till I got mine back on the road and that was a long time.

Anyone coming to GSMTR that has an extra rag joint for an FJ40 laying around. Called all the parts places around here and nobody even has a part listing for it and its too late to order one from CCOT or similar places without paying ungodly shipping charges. I cant see paying $30 shipping on a $19 part

Or if you know a part # I can use to try the local places again.

The numbers that 40s are taking at auction is astounding. The $101,750.00 the 40 took above is the highest I have seen to date. Herather and I have talked about it and have decided to invest in out 69 to bring it back to showroom condition when we sell our property up the mountain. We figure a $30-35K investment may well net us 50% or better on the investment. Time to start buying up 40s guys.

I've got two local "barn find" 40s to see this week. one is rusty but fairly complete and a one owner, the other is said to be like it rolled off the showroom floor... Literally in a barn on blocks, brakes are leaking and drivers door window is broken...she said its not been driven in at least ten years...

Is that the red one or the green rhd one?

Brownish greenish. Rmauction dot com or similar ... Out is NC.. Ridiculous price. Many on hemmings.com and ebay for less. Maybe the "crate engine" got someone interested over the top...

Oh well. No point in selling the mini now. Guess I gotta continue building it and rock it!!!

LOL that is awesome........ not a terrible idea. I know when I bought my first 40 I was clueless and could have used some sound advice and direction. A novice could save himself much heartbreak and cash buy paying a little more up front.
