I do gather from Trollhole's post that the area is warmer than his personal liking, somthing akin to the Great Rift Vally in Africa from his vivid wording. Loved it I bet it's hot!:)

It's not really that hot. It's a great place to go in the fall and spring. Summer can be a bit rough for me camping. I've done it a dozen times but on the ride home with the sun beating down the bag of ice sitting in my lap does little to cool the heat. Now in something with A/C or with the club renting a lake house I'm all down for it.

I remember the drive home last GSMTR. It was a bit hot.
