I just wanted to take some time to blame everyone on this site for my current buying addiction on Woot.com. Ever since the woot thread was started i have averaged buying something from them once every two weeks or so. This is all your fault. I take no responsibility....

My wagon isn't going anywhere! (for now)

It is that for sure, and my beast is not going anywhere (in reference to selling it's running fine) any time in the future, heck Joe (my son) will get it when I die if things don;t change. I love the 60 Ilike the 62, I will ride in and use 80, and newer and admire the 40's but for me it's the 60!!!!

Frozen in the sands of time: Eerie Second World War RAF fighter plane discovered in the Sahara... 70 years after it crashed in the desert

  • Pilot of the Kittyhawk P-40 was thought to have survived crash, but died trying to walk out of the desert
  • Aircraft was found almost perfectly preserved, unseen and untouched, after it came down in 1942
  • Historian describes find as 'an incredible time capsule' and 'the aviation equivalent of Tutankhamun's Tomb'

That's really cool. Thanks for posting Steve.

That's going to be a big miracle but anything can happen.

That I can fully understand, and it's not the end of the world if it does not happen but it would be nice. Oh and I went ahead and let the cat out of the bag in the 60 teck section, told you I gabbed too much. Thanks again Marshall. Johnny C from NC just went ahead and asked , I did not deny any who see you mid week. :)

Lol.

Got to love AN fittings.

Thats purty... If it wouldn't be like polishing a turd i'd get my 60 done...

Ain't no polishing here just good old performance upgrades. Better off road, better fuel economy, better cold starting. Has provisions for A/C idle up. Until you drive one don't knock it. It ain't cheap like that guy who sells carbs on this board. But it's night and day compared to a carbed version. It will turn you 60 from something that is a pain to start in the winter to something you just get in and go. It basically gives you a 62 without the boat anchor behind the motor. And considering this cruiser has a 5 speed and the new split case AA low gear it's going to be a lot of fun.

This MUST be an ancestor of Chuck's. Who else could take that much punishment and still survive?!

Taken at the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum in Hatteras. This was a who's who of pirates known to roam those waters of the OBX.
