Ubolt reversal question (10 Viewers)

Need some opinions on an idea. I looked at the maf ubolt reversal and started wondering. Could you fabricate a new axle top plate, use the stock bottom plate and use grade 8 bolts up from the bottom to eliminate the possability of damaging threaded ends of ubolts.

I don't think that would make the bottom of the springs "slippery" enough to be worth the time. 16 Grade 8 bolts in that size would cost quite a bit maby consider the gm plate option.

I had access to a cnc mill but you could do the same with a grinder.

I dont have the G-code but its really just two passes with an end mill and the ends are ground on a sander.
