If it's just a rattle you're trying to fix, I would start by replacing the inner and outer felts. They're only like $50 for the pair ($100 to do both doors). Maybe they're a little less for the vented windows.Just watched the video and got excited as I need 2 new new window regulators for my BJ42.
I looked it up on Amayama and they wanted over $1000 just for one.
I spoke to my local Toyota dealer and they can order them. $1500 each! I cant justify $3k to get rid of a slight rattle.
Its for the vented window so i understand its rarer. Im happy to pay extra, even a premium for these parts but that's out of control money.
Yes, would start there for sure. Night and day difference when i knocked this outIf it's just a rattle you're trying to fix, I would start by replacing the inner and outer felts. They're only like $50 for the pair ($100 to do both doors). Maybe they're a little less for the vented windows.
Try Goodstate on ebay....he usually includes the shipping cost in the price.. from Australia...you get options of either genuine parts or sometimes after market.Just watched the video and got excited as I need 2 new new window regulators for my BJ42.

And? Also the Toyota heritage glass looks green. I search for a white one with a stamp.bikersmurf: you're absolutely right, just need a pattern (or is it templet?)
otherwise no success so far, only waiting for the japanese rabbit to reply to my inquiry...![]()
Ah and the first part of the exhaust pipe is 1900 CHF, 2'455.63 USD... Ehm idk. I think ill wrap my self built exhaust system with a wrapper instead of that double walled gold exhaust.
Just to inform. No Chance for that Windshield via Gazoo. They are out of stock. So this is starting to be a real pain for me. Im sure the swiss authority also wants to see a original glass.

What is the difference in glass between 1958-1975 and 1976-1984? I can understand 1958 being different but 1975 looks like 1982 glass when I see it installed in a 40?
Thanks but thats not OEM and i can also let it cut by my local car glass guy. From what i understood so far is that the swiss vehicle inspection wants to see the stamp on that glass. Thats why i am worried here.My windshield was milky, really bad. When I started looking for one I found that many companies stopped carrying them because they would break in shipping. I had a local guy that has been doing glass for decades use my old one as a template and cut me a new one.
