You can have really dark tint on your windows if you get a doctor to write you a prescription for it.

Mine eyes have (no longer) seen the glory of the burning of the sun. I will be looking into that. I'd imagine it eliminates the 'tint fee' at inspection, too. Good thing I have about 57 doctors to ask.

North Carolina allows windshield tint with 70% VLT under medical waivers. Permit can be issued by N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles Medical Review Program for 2 to 5 years. Medical exception sticker must be displayed in the lower left-hand corner of the rear window. Failure to display the sticker is punishable by a $200 fine.

Speaking as a forum commenter it's our responsibility to remind everybody that fückíng stupid can't be avoided or ignored. It's a handy, lasting way to leave our mark. Like inbreeding. Or salting the earth.

and even Stupidity in Action information proves valuable. like when Mickey Rubicon ingested a bottle cap. He documented the mental, emotional, and physical anguish associated with the bottle cap's scenic route through his digestive tract, and its eventual exit. I would venture a guess that many have wondered what would happen if someone swallowed a bottle cap, and rather than try it themselves, they had the potential to read and learn, versus hearing the words Anal Fissure cascading off their Dr's lips and tongue.
The same applies for vehicle protection and customization. Through another forum, we learned that it is not wise to apply a roll on bedliner product while wearing just your underwear, for inevitably, your clothing will contact said product, and you end up with herculiner on your hootus. We learned how delicately one must be when trying to remove said product, and the thought process of deducing if solvents should be used, or a manual approach, or to just let it harden and flake off on its own....
See, just two seemingly stupid events, that triggered a wealth of information!

Netflix, what the hell is wrong with those mofos? It used to be decent movies and tv, not its a s***show of weird crap, and most the potentially good shows are coming in the future. They lost their fooking mind.... canceling it, looking for something else.
In terms of outside shows and movies they aren't as good as they used to... basically because they shifted their focus to homemade shows years ago.
But those shows are damn good. I can't remember the last time I watched something on Netflix that wasn't bank rolled by them. I just download all of the regular movies outside of netflix.

As a white male, I know I have privilege. I think sometimes that's exaggerated, but in reference to police I tend to think that I get better treatment than a typical black person would. In my opinion, It's that privilege that makes it my duty to NOT allow cops on power trips to push me around. Because if I allow it, you know they're going to keep doing it.
Example: stuck on the side of the road broken down last weekend. Cops pull up, "Everything okay?" "sure, broken down waiting on the tow truck, thanks for asking".. ."Oh, okay - can we see your id?"
They were shocked when I did the whole "do you suspect me of a crime?" and refused to identify. Like "I bet this guy is a felon" kinda shock. "We'll just run your plates"... was the intimidation response... and they did, which I think without ANY suspected crime is questionably legal. In fact, there's case law that states refusing to identify on it's own CANNOT be grounds for suspicion.
Anyway, after running my plate, checking my driving record, and putting a nice little record of the interaction down in a report. Oh, and also sitting behind me for 15 mins with their lights on making me look like a damn criminal...... they come back.

Yeah..... right... You're really trying to help what? You think if my registration was expired, license suspended, warrants, etc that they'd have "just been trying to help" or would they just be using my misfortune as an opportunity for revenue...
I don't hate cops - I'm a big fan actually. I just wish they knew a little better where my rights begin and their rights as Gestapo end.

As much as I hate to admit it, the more I think about this the more I can twist it into a benefit that you didn't see. Perhaps he got wind that those meddling kids in The Mystery Machine were onto a gang of car thieves who look for broken down cars then "wait for the tow truck" to carry it off to the chop shop. He, of course, wanted to one-up that high as shît Shaggy and realized his blue polyester would allow asking for your ID to let him to compare you to the registered owner. Seems plausible to me.
Any chance he also asked if you had a gun, drugs, open container? You didn't call him gov'ner, did you? Or constable? Or maybe Chief Wiggum?
Transmission shop in Greensboro apparently neglected to tighten a hose, contents of transmission emptied onto the exhaust.
They were both nice and polite. Male and female officer. Didn’t ask anything other than ID. Probably the fact that my 21 year old daughter was in the car with me. They asked her too. She was about to voluntarily turn it over. I was very nice and friendly just told them no thanks.

Ahhh. Eddie and Lou(ise). Sorry, I've got Simpsons on the brain this week.
I would have complied as I have nothing to hide and no chip on my shoulder regarding the police. They were just doing what they were asked to do. For all they knew, you could had been driving with a revoked license or worse. The clerk at the convenience store asks for your ID too, and his/her job is far less important than that of a LEO. I am all for standing up for one's rights, but sometimes it's just easier to let the po-po do what they're supposed to do so that they can move along.
Another interesting police observation:
State trooper, on the highway yesterday. Behind 2 pig trucks full of pigs going 70 (65mph limit). Yeah, it smells bad.... Yeah, if you're a vegetarian, it's hard to look at... but that's life. For me, the legal options are grin, and bear it... or slow down and wait.
What does he do? Turns on the lights, bullying someone out of the fast lane, goes about 100 mph and speeds around them. Turns off the lights and continues on his way. I bet he was called to an emergency, that was subsequently cancelled....
