My rear body mount mud trap no longer holds that which it traps...yours looks mint.

My challenge was getting the damn tank back in, wasn’t until I was up top doing the sender I realized the cargo floor was partially collapsed and that’s what I was fighting trying to line it all up, so hopefully your floor has seen less work in its life.

Did you install the Long Range Automotive tank?

I looked at the directions on line and it was basically.

Lengthen the sending unit.

Bolt it in.

Fill it up.

No I had mine re-new’d, stock tank back in.

The rear area is cleaned. Sealed. Lined.

What did you spray the belly with?

Don't know if it helps any, but here's where the PO of my pig hung the LR tank.

I’ve not spoken to a person that has done the 55 install but the people that have used this tank in 60s and 80s say it is plug and play.

I've dropped it and put it back in before. Kinda tight, but I did it by myself with a floor jack.
IIRC biggest pain was undoing and doing up the hoses.

Here's where I dropped it. Didn't take helpful pics, unfortunately.

Mine would have been fairly easy had I not had to pull the “towers” that it sits on. The bolts were all frozen. I struggled until I decided to just cut them. The front one on each side though. It’s almost impossible to cut them. I had to loosen enough to get a 45* bent sawzall blade in there.
