Maybe find a VIN of one somewhere and then use that on a toyota parts online website to get the specific specialized parts

I do this with my Ram sometimes

I used a friends VIN that has the “night edition” to get those headlights for mine (peasant model)

Yeah, definitely sound advice. I've already started, but was hoping someone was able to verify my work and fill in some gaps.
Might help someone else out down the road when they're doing a search for their project.

Holy hell those headlights are $$$

Can someone confirm this is the correct part number for a replacement key and FOB for 2013 LX570? Is this a Lexus specific part? These part numbers show valid at my local Toyota dealership.

89904-60A00 FOB / Transmitter
69515-30350 69515-50260 Master Key

Is the "master" key just a blank, or is there a non-master key?

Correct on the fob. Your second number appears to be for the card-type key available on LXs. The blank key for a regular LX fob is 69515-50260. Both show discontinued at my local toyota parts counter website, but my 50260 number comes up all over the place on lexus sites and ebay.

@cruiserdan or @OGBeno could probably shed some light on the differences with master vs blank. It may refer to the days when valet keys were available, but I'm not sure about that.

I stopped by the local Lexus dealer today to have them look it up.

89904-60A00 or 89904-60061 for the FOB (60A00 is correct for my VIN).

Key PN 69515-50260 is correct and works with either FOB PN above. They wanted $90 for just the key and to cut it. Online Lexus sites sell the blank key for $40. Not sure what a locksmith will charge to cut.

I didn't ask on the FOB as I ordered one through my Toyota dealership for $123 and I'll program it with my Launch tool.

The answer is not that simple.
Key configuration has evolved significantly in the last 40-ish years.

In bygone days the difference between Master and Valet keys was the contour of the key tips.

Currently the difference is way more convoluted.
So much so that I can't even imagine the correct explanation.

Can you order just the heater knob that fell off? I can’t seem to find it. 2009 LC. Also assume the door/spot buttons should light up similar to the garage button lights? What bulb goes there?

Unfortunately the seat heater knobs are not available seperately. There is a thread here on Mud with details but you can find a rather inexpensive (and admittedly low quality) aftermarket seat heater switch. Skip using the switch but the knobs click right on. I had to do this on my 2008. 8 years later, the knobs are still working well.

EDIT: here is the post, in it you’ll find the eBay link for a $40 switch.

At $20/knob it’s far from cheap but US retail on the OEM 84751-60190 is $320. I’d buy the OEM if I needed the switch but for the knobs, I’m down to compromise :D

I have a '15 LX. is there part numbers for the male/female connectors for the rear seat monitors? I removed my rear monitors and would like to make a couple pigtails for usb charging on the back of the seats in the monitor delete covers so I don't need to cut into the oem wiring harness...

I would just use high quality taps, personally. The wiring diagrams should make it possible to find the connector that's on the end of the harness but many of their counterparts mounted inside hardware are very difficult or impossible to find.

Hi - thanks in advance for the assist... I was in a minor collision that damaged the casing on the front camera of my 2014 LX570. The part number seems to be 86790-60210, which costs ~$1,000. I was wondering if this part was shared with LC - I think it's 86790-60200. If so, it's ~1/3 of the price. Any help or tips would mean a lot.

The diagrams suggest the outer shape is different, so I doubt it would bolt in. Toyota does like to use common parts when possible, so it is entirely plausible that the internal toyota camera could be put into a LX housing if you found one.

Personally I'd try to find a used part somewhere.

Circling back on this. PNs 89904-60A00 and 69515-50260 were correct for my 2013 LX570. Details here:

I bought the FOB / transmitter (89904-60A00) at my local Toyota dealer (yes they sold a Lexus part) for ~$125 (15% off sale). I bought the metal key (69515-50260) at my local Lexus dealer and had it cut using my VIN for ~$63 (included both key and having it cut). So under $200 all in.

You did the key programming yourself?

Makes sense, seems like the safer way. Do you have any tips on how to find legitimate used parts? I I worry that the massive problem of counterfeit new parts online trickles down to used parts too

Some stuff is so rare or reliable in the first place that there isn't a market for counterfeit.. I'd put our grille and camera assembly in that category.. but maybe I'm being naive?

Car-part.com is my go-to for stuff you'd find in parts yards. Occasionally you'll see a listing that is within driving distance so you can inspect it yourself..

All - the rubber strip between the hood front lip and the plastic cowling on my 200 is falling apart. Anyone know the name / part number?

Should be 53381-60110 for a '15 LC

And yes it's most likely your body treatment. I haven't heard of that happening before.
(Post #51 in this thread, I asked for the same thing)
