I didn't say that.

I simply said we would still find a way to win games.

All we need is shaw to play smart.

He has a cast of great recievers. He has speedsters like Sanders and Byrd that will beat you off the line and get open for the long bomb down the field.

He also has tall guys like Jeffery and cunningham that will completely out jump any corner or saftey...maybe even steam roll you on their way to get the ball.

We've also got multi purpose guys like Ellinton who can both run the ball and is a great reciever (being a basketball player also helps with the jump ball)

Wilds will probably be the starting back from this point on unless Miles the senior get heals (wrist) and can perform much better in practice.

Wilds is averaging about 8yds per carry.

He's about the size/weight of lattimore but quicker.

These guys are a confident bunch. I think the other guys will step up.

Thats pretty much exactly what you said just phrased it differently.

i'm optimistic, it's a talented bunch of guys in columbia, by far more talent on the roster than we may have ever had.

If they can pull together we still have a good shot at the SEC east title.

Good job Clemson. You were the better team even though you suck. You fans deserve some good luck after all these years of suckyness and failed attempts at being the top team in a crappy football conference.

Well, #5 is ok for now. Guess they have to beat GT before the Tigers can leapfrog Boise. Then they just have to take care of business and hope Okl. State loses to Oklahoma so Boyd and Co. can be sitting pretty in the #2 spot behind LSU or Bama. Still early, and a lot of football left to play. But the way they have been playing, I think Clemson is a 2 TD better team than anyone in the ACC.

Go cocks.

Put Ingram at back. Let the bulldozer get us 5 yds a carry

i am enjoying the ride with clemson however gotta keep it real. LSU stomped auburn. I simply do not think we would stand a chance against that type of high powered offense. Just sayin!!

With 3 weeks to prepare, a neutral site in a dome we would hang. Not saying we would win, but we wouldn't look stupid like a lot of other conference teams that have played SEC teams in the big dance.

We aren't the same team that played Auburn. All good teams get better as the season progresses. Some implode as the season goes on. We usually suffer the latter, and we still have GT to pass, but I feel good about our chances this year under Swinney/Morrison.

On top of that we are averaging more points per game than them. I know they have played Oregon, and play in the SEC, but come on. We aren't that far off the mark in terms of offensive shootouts. I put Stanford, LSU, and Clemson in the top 3 as far as offense goes. Unfortunately one of those teams also ranks 1st in defense.

Did get to watch the game but all the text messages saying we had scored again were pretty awesome.

With 3 weeks to get ready we could hang with anyone, I agree in not saying we would win but we'd make it a game. I hope we get that chance.

boyd has put up some impressive numbers this year.

USC will still kick your tails in Nov.

what i meant is for national title. My bad

as would i. I just laugh when i hear these guys calling into the local sports talk radio shows talking about how it is a done deal for clemson to go to the national championship game. I was only 4 in 81 so to me this is one of the best seasons ever for clemson.
