Spureyorr is tryin to figure out if he can bring Rice back for the last few games....his biggest delima is convincing the school to pay for the plane ticket back to Minnesota so he can make his sunday games....he figures the NCAA won't catch it till the end of the season and will take them several years to bring down fractions against the school, by then he'll be retired and could care less.

Clemson has that game in Nov to worry about.

The front 4 at south carolina are going to be the best front 4 they see all year...possibly the best front four in the nation.

If Ingram and Clowney are not enough Taylor and Quarrels are also having a great season. Clowney and Quarrels both being freshmen.

And they are both giants!!

ON top of that we we are leading the NCAA in forced turnovers.

Our line backers (we have no true line backers) are about our only weak point. We are soft on the inside run.

But our secondary is great with interceptions this year. Our sack numbers are not all that great but the guys get in the back and push around the passer.

If you can hold Ark. under 21 pts. then I will agree with you. Otherwise you are talking out your a#$ and will not score as many points as Clemson. Which is all that really matters in the end.

I saw what maryland did to your defense.

You'll have a hard time putting that many yards up on the smash mouth S.Car defense.

Even without lattimore we can be a successful team. All we need is for the air game to get better.

Shaw has 2 full games under his belt, one in a very unfriendly SEC road game enviroment.

He will continue learning, hopefully stop forcing passes. He did much better with not staring down reciever at the MSU game like he did the KY game.

Wilds is about the same size as lattimore but quicker. We've also got a point guard on our team by the name of Ellington that could also see some RB action.

We won't have the north south smash mouth run game but with the speed to bounce to the outside we might still find a way to run the ball with some success.

Without lattimore in the game watch for teams to stop stacking the box. They will get softer up the middle. I also look for the playbook to change so teams watching reel tape from week one won't know what to expect from the HBC.

Fun and gun....probably not....but might see something completely different.

not better...but i think the play calling is less conservitive.

When a team holds your 100+ yds a game RB to 39 yds you need to change your play calling.

So long as lattimore was in the game his play calling did not change.

in your case...as a clemson fan...i suppose you would have to rely on your offense (and a questionable at best maryland defense) to get you the W at the end of the day.

I'd rather have a shaky offense than a questionable D any game day.

I don't want my offense to have to score 50 points a game in order for us to win games.

A good offense will win you games

but a good defense will win you championships.

All we need is shaw to play smart.

He has a cast of great recievers. He has speedsters like Sanders and Byrd that will beat you off the line and get open for the long bomb down the field.

He also has tall guys like Jeffery and cunningham that will completely out jump any corner or saftey...maybe even steam roll you on their way to get the ball.

We've also got multi purpose guys like Ellinton who can both run the ball and is a great reciever (being a basketball player also helps with the jump ball)

Wilds will probably be the starting back from this point on unless Miles the senior get heals (wrist) and can perform much better in practice.

Wilds is averaging about 8yds per carry.

He's about the size/weight of lattimore but quicker.

These guys are a confident bunch. I think the other guys will step up.
