POST PADDER!!
j/k...:)

What...that seems to be post padding itself...or actually maybe this is post padding :hhmm: ;)

:lol: 1144 and 1145 posts...Lou, your ISP accelerator twitch is showing pretty slow clock speed...you weren't dribbling coffee at the same time were you?

Naw......Carlos wasn't padding...........just brain dead at a quarter to one in the morning after working a double and hitting send twice as Eric noticed......first was the one I meant to post; second was the base note and when I backed must have sent the unfinished one second:o will go ahead and delete.........but the question remains; has anyone heard from John at Slocruisers recently?.......heard he was working on the rear door fixed window rubbers but that was several months ago:frown:

No explanations needed, I was just messin' with you. In fact, if anyone is padding their post count, it would be me. I don't think I have had anything important to add to this thread lately at all.

Hah! One more post. :)

John, will try to answer your questions;
rear fixed window rubber??.......believe John <slowcruisers was going to fab it but have not heard from him for some time:hhmm:
door to frame rubber? JC Whitney....IIRC, they are the same; just have to cut/shorten one down a bit ;
Frame to door? after having used both jc whitney's and SOR's ......IMHO Sor's stands up a lot better + provides a better seal ...... HTH:cheers:

$1515 plus whatever the cost of the cargo windows and the JC Whitney W/S supplies, plus shipping... That's over $2000 for rubber stuff. However, we're kind of backed in to a corner when it comes to it. That is definitely more than what I paid for my FJ55. I guess it's just one of those things we'll have to live with or without.

Ok, more than my 55 :frown: Guess my off the cuff math has a built in no guilt rationale ;) Just don' tell the wife.

Tell what to the wife? Huh?:confused:

:D

$450...going to have to save up for a bit.

jesus

Looks like I'm gonna find another option. I paid the 250-300 for each piece of WS for the tailgate. Thought it was expensive but worth it. I cannot see myself spending that kind of money for two of those gaskets.

This weatherstrip guide is awesome!! Between slo-cruisers and JC Whitney, I've got most of everything I need. Haven't found where to get the rear window run channel for the tailgate. Can anyone steer me in the right direction? Thanks again for this info. Brett

Weeboo,
That looks like the run channel for the body. I need the channel that is on either side of the tailgate (inside the tailgate) that the window runs up and down in. I've got that piece that you linked to. I purchased it from slo-cruisers. Thanks Brett

You're talking about the window felt that runs horizontally across the top of the tailgate? (two pieces?)
