Thoughts on GA Cruisers doing a meal one night that week? You can charge what you want and collect the profits made for your club as well sell your merchandise during the meal.


So far only Friday night has been taken by UC. That is the night the band will play.
 
How early are people going up? I plan to attend but have another car event in Helen during the weekend so I'd probably have to leave Friday sometime. So I want to be in contact with whoever will be there so we can camp and wheel together during the week. I plan on being there by Monday evening at the very latest if it's permissable; Maybe even Saturday sometime if that's an option.

I WILL have my truck there!
 
I am looking at flying into Atlanta on Sunday the 15th and attending GSMTR, flying back out of Atlanta on Monday the 23rd.

Might need a ride to and from the airport.

I have an offer from my friend Hendog of a place to crash and rides to and from the event.

Might need to borrow some camping gear.

I WILL be bringing my guitar!

I'm thinking I'd like to go see the ACC and UC shops while I'm in the area. Any other suggestions on possible pre-event get togethers or places to see while I'm in the ATL area would be appreciated. I did that when I flew into VA last Sept for Fall Crawl and it worked out very well.:)

I think this is gonna be fun!:bounce:

With a Henry as a friend, I expect that you will have plenty of material for teasing while you are here.

I'll never forget the first time I met Henry. It was about 4 years ago at UC'c Over the Mountain Tour in Tellico. I don't think he had registered or told anyone he was coming that I can remember. He walked up to me and Alex and plopped down 2 bushels of corn. At that point he was in, no questions asked. I've called him corn boy from there on out.

An event just isn't the same without him around.
 
I love it when Henry backs up things people can barely drive up and then gets surprised when he breaks :p

I just registered. Hopefully that'll keep the motivation high for getting/keeping the truck functioning.

Does anybody know how the camping arrangements work? I don't know yet if I'll be tent camping or RV camping, but if I end up looking for a tent site, should I try to get something in particular that will hold all the people coming from GC?

Sounds good. I guess you'll be there all week, right? What day are you getting up there, whadya driving and where do I look for ya? (never been there before)
