Not sure if we would have to incorporate a SEMA Event with a 7x Event, but if it works out that way, I have room for 2 trailers in my driveway in Vegas, if that is an actual concern.

The swell or southwest Utah would both be great. I'd be up for either.

Moderate terrain. Beautiful scenery. I like the remoteness of the swell but understand sw Utah would appeal to a broader demographic.

SEMA timeframe would be rough for me personally but I can see the appeal. I've got some Colombian Cruiser pals/customers coming up to tour the LCHM and go "shoot big machine guns in the desert" this year before heading down to SEMA. Perhaps they will be up for some Sand Hollow action too! I'd love to get back down there, I've not been since @SteveJackson was still a Scout guy :D

I won't take delivery of my 74 for a couple of months yet but I'm in! :)
Well heck, just drive to East Tennessee in late September and you can get an early start on the whole 70 Series thing.

How about a NW gathering! Oregon would be ideal....of course that makes it close for me. If that doesn't work what about Washington, Idaho or even MT. Eastern OR has hot springs, painted hills and lots of dirt roads. Would love to finally get one of my 70 series to an event.

Let's make a plan!!! Maybe a destination Social Club?? Baja in October is nice, so I've heard. ;) Anywhere in the Intercontinental west in the fall or Baja is my vote.

I'll be at the Windrock meet this year, and would LOVE to have a similar event in southern UT next year. Not Moab - ("nobody goes there...it's too crowded.") But I would kill to get some indepth knowledge of the real Utah back country. Personally, I'm not interested in rock crawling - I want to do some exploring and travel.

I'd potentially be in depending. Planning cruise Moab for 2019 with some friends across the US and Okinawa. Would be neat to add some scenic routes in Colorado or Utah!

I say we all send our truck to Alaska and drive the trans-Canada highway. I can packout for 20 trucks and organize the medical aspects:smokin:

So a western trek doesn't involve Alabama and Mississippi? :)

Sounds awesome. Deadhorse to PEI.

Google maps says 94 hours. I'll wing it. I'd just want to get a hoistable sked otherwise I'm set. [im kidding, unless this would be seriously on the table. I could get serious about this type of trip]

Nashville's pretty far west for me. Arkansas is practically the Rocky Mountains.

I say PEI -> Brownsville -> Panama City.
Deadhorse - PEI - Key West to mile 0

Moab is overdone. Ouray/etc is overdone (and super busy, having just been there). SW Utah offers a lot of options, and is VERY OHV friendly as well. 160,000 OPEN OHV acres to play on between UT and AZ.

Plus, selfishly, it's my backyard :)

This sounds like a plan here....

Well Alaska definitely qualifies as "west".

Indeed. Any further west, and all of a sudden you're east.

AK would be awesome...might actually look into shipping my truck up there to save a 5 day drive each way.
