Awesome time this last week. Even got the chance to tag along with Ryan and Darrell to the Grand Canyon. Now in Scottsdale for a work meeting through Wednesday and then heading home to San Antonio. Having a potential issue with my rear axle and trying to source a used pumpkin here in the Phoenix area. See thread RTH: needing to buy or borrow a 4:10 diff in the Phoenix area
If any of you know of a local MUD member that may have a good used pumpkin please let me know. If so, don't hesitate to text me (723-805-3962) as I'll be in meetings throughout the days between now and Wednesday afternoon. Thanks, Jim

After going through pictures (why didn't I think to do that sooner :bang:) it seems they are somewhere between the start of Black Bear and the top of Imogene. I have a hunch they might be at the old mining ruins on Imogene as we stopped there and I was under Dave's truck. Anyone going back soon? Know anyone who is?

Give me the potential locations were you might have dropped them and I’ll take a look in the next couple days.

And exact google maps areial image of where you were would be ideal or something detailed so i can pinpoint.

I just did imogene on Saturday but didn’t see anything shiny along the way.

Jim.

Memorable day for the boys when Casey gave them a joy ride. My fillings moved back when he gunned his motor. Hand throttle is sweet! Boys got a dose of Caseyengineering. Nice touches.

It was my pleasure taking you guys for a ride. Fun to see the light shinning in their eyes when they got to my barn. Great kids my friend. You are doing it right. They are the future of our sickness / hobby and it gives me confidence. Thanks for coming CD, looking forward to next year.

@Dirtydawg has a laptop full of awesome pics. May take a bit but the results will be amazing. As soon as we have a photo storage site established I will post a location so we can all share.
Here is a Flickr link to the unprocessed images. SAS 2018
I will get them processed and setup up a Google drive as soon as i can.
Hope you enjoy!

Video link of the steps on Black Bear with my gopro. Sorry it's so choppy, not sure how to fix that

Thanks for sharing Pat and more importantly thanks for your sponsorship. It was a real pleasure to meet you and Buddy!
Just want to again say thanks to @POTATO LAUNCHER for organizing such a fun event and to all the trail leaders for leading the way! I had a ton of fun meeting cool new cruiser folks and cruising my fj40 up and over those passes and am already looking forward to next year! If any of you pass through Chinle/Canyon de Chelly area please look me up I’d love to show you around.

Bit of excitement coming down black bear when my front left tire pushed out some soft dirt and wanted me to take a short cut! Thanks again to Doug, Gabriel, and Bill for helping make sure I was able to get back down safely: much appreciated! Here we are after the excitement.
