For actual cross country I believe I'd need to invest in some different seats. My butt is the only place I do not have extra padding.

Like you said, "As it should be."My butt is the only place I do not have extra padding.
That was quick! Nice work! Nothing like a multi state road trip to wheel to prove a "new" used transmission!Success! Just did a test drive and she shifts nice. I did the @Tools R Us mods to crisp up the shifts and it is perfect.
Slight mess and I'm completely exhausted. Step #6 time, then bed. Lots to do tomorrow and will probably have to organize my gear when I get there but I'm heading out!

I'm happy tonight. One of my buddies came over and really helped my pace. He brought a six of one of the new brews from the new revived Detroit Strohs brewery. That was quick! Nice work! Nothing like a multi state road trip to wheel to prove a "new" used transmission!Hope everything is good!

Knocked out 380 miles today. Looks like a bit over 8hrs to Amarillo which I'm thinking will take closer to 10hrs. Should be there about 5pm.

Wanna shake your hand dude when we meet. Impressive what you did there. Glad you are heading in to Ouray.
Black lake is really near the KOA. But don’t know if yo can fish it. Would be cool find out.Anyone need anything brought to Ouray from Ventura? Passing through LA, San Bernardino then taking 15 past Barstow to Vegas and branching off in Utah to take the 70 across.
Worst case a Dayco 1 -1/4" will fill the gap. About 14" seem right?
Not a bad day's drive, I'd say. Keep on truckin'.
I assume you guys are on coming in on I-40? You get directions to the barn from Jimmy?
I can sure check. Will you need it mounted?
