Our entourage of coolness will stay on Hwy 87 to I-25 and Raton Pass. We are meeting up with a couple of other guys in Woodland Park for the night then into Salida for lunch at the brewery that makes the FJ60 brand beer. Will stop and say hello to Brandon and crew @Classic Cruisers new world headquarters in Poncha Springs. Hoping to arrive in Ouray by late afternoon.

Please pickup some extra fj60 beer, Please and Thank you. I'll bring 4 or 5 kinds of Santa Fe brewery Ale. Cheers!

You can see the trailer we just built when you get here man. This will be the first long haul and my brother is extremely excited to get it out behind the 60. There will be at least 4 in our convoy.

Anyone need anything brought to Ouray from Ventura? Passing through LA, San Bernardino then taking 15 past Barstow to Vegas and branching off in Utah to take the 70 across.

Anyone plan on doing any fishing? I never have been to Colorado but I figured we may pass some places to fish a few times at. Gonna buy a 5 day licence.

I recommend Blue Lakes, if you're up to a moderate hike in. Blue Lakes are opposite Mt. Sneffels and Yankee Boy Basin, west of Ouray. Access is from Ridgway off the highway just before Dallas Divide.

Last year at the SAS my wife and I hiked down from Yankee Boy Basin, we talked to a couple of guys who had been fishing in Middle Blue Lake with good results.
