Check your nuts.

Ubolt nut that is.

While under the rig checking, had two nuts missing on rear springs! Several were loose. Had tightened them a while back. Put some lock washers in and trimmed the ubolts. Boys helped out. They are pumped about being at SAS.

I had an issue driving to Chicago. Yesterday morning I developed an engine knock in the BJ40. Another than the knock it ran fine but I made the call to leave it with a fellow cruiserhead in Memphis. Due to the issue that I won't be able to diagnose/fix quickly I unfortunately have to bail out next week. Real bummer.
I do have a campsite reserved. @POTATO LAUNCHER Casey please let me know if there are official backup folks waiting on a spot and I can try to transfer my site to another person. I believe I had it reserved Tuesday through Friday.

Way sorry to hear of this Cim. You are making the right decision tho. Bummer.

@ajax1 Are we still on for the Montrose big tire run? If so, who all is in?

Yes, we are. I am @ajax1 @The Eradicator

Anyone live in Denver Colorado? I’m needing someone to bring me a pto winch from a guy and take him my winch that I’m trading him.

I don't anymore, but have to work down there before I head out. I could possibly help you out @The Jade Bean ...

Damn man sorry to hear @Mr Cimarron . Have fun anyway!

@Jason Andrews I appreciate that! Another member it’s working it out. Thanks MUD!

A great big hole where a gas tank used to be. Great time to spring a leak!

Pressure makes diamonds, I'm going to SAS!

Ordered a cb and firestik antenna setup for comms last night as well as some led headlights from @Racer65 hope everything comes in before I roll out Friday at lunch. I’ve been putting off the led lights because I feel like they take away from the look but with as much travel as I do in the 40 they’re more of a safety necessity. Getting pretty pumped though going to try to fire off the old oil burner tomorrow it’s been parked since the end of April.

Agreed on the lights Roman. I have them in my 40 and although a little out of place they work flawlessly. Been very happy with them for several years now.

Doing my 3rd radiator R&R in a week. Lots of fun here.

Speaking of CB's,
@NookShneer please put my SWR meter in your truck tonight before it gets forgotten! ;) May be a few folks who need to tune antennas last minute! They are rarely spot on out of the box and it makes a huge difference.

Am I going backwards?

Nah, my seat adjuster gear stripped so I rigged it all the way back and I'm leaving it unplugged. Needed to wash the seat covers and easier to pull the seats to get em off and vacuum the labrador hair while I can get at it.

Going to do the steering shaft sesl while it's easy to acess too.

It’s funny that you think it would have left the center console from a year ago. Consider it on the list.

Lots to do but still time for a little 4:37 a.m. frisbee throw with Buddy the Lab, right?
