Sweet. You can drop all those in the mail to me ;)

Those black ones are either from an fj60 or early Hilux.

Looking good Ron.
If you end up with an extra set of that door handle rubber I would buy a set from you.

Those factory mirrors make me die a little inside :( . Makes me sad that someone drilled a hole in one of mine. Looking Good Ron!

Thanks Guys, starting to address some of things I've been putting off for too long. The painter seems to be going to town on the doors, so I better hurry up.

J Mack, I'm going to hang on to some of the extras, at least for now.

Thanks Guppie!

This isn't over yet. I forgot to mount the computer. This AC has a computer :bang:. I don't know how to set my alarm clock, much less the AC. I blame J Mack for getting me into this. :) Made another little bracket to mount off the other one. Tucked up and out of the way. If I was thinking, could of made all as one .

The powder coater and the UPS guy, love me!

Xtiaan2000,

The address on the shipping package was from Colorado. Probably round about from Slo Cruisers.

Yeah, I see that. It's just the picture. The whole thing tilts down. I know better than to take pictures after my two beers. :)

Alright, I went all out for you guys and hired a professional, Hollywood type of model, for these pictures. :moon: The first couple are where the seat belt will lay across my neck, if I use the mount I welded for the roof supports. It is some what closer to the driver than the stock hole.

The second set of pictures are where I could mount the seat belt and how it lays across my chest. I like the feel of this position a lot better. I don't like the feel of the belt on my neck, but I want it to work, if need be.

What is everybody's opinion on this, need to finish the body.

I know you all want to see the model again, but here's some of how the shifter turned out, in relation to the driver's leg.

And a couple of the finished drawers.

Think the pillar mount makes better sense.
+2 that is the one that makes the most sense. I might also say that the buckle location looked too far forward. I am sure you will get it sorted and have some amazing plan for plating each piece inside the buckle! Love your build!

For what it's worth, I welded in some nuts at about the same location on the pillar as your second picture. I'm not fully committed to that spot, but just in case. We have a newer Nissan that has the shoulder harness mounted on the pillar and is pretty comfortable there. Of course it also has air bags.

Guys,

I was thinking the same, just weld in the mounts on the pillar and I'll decide later. Mine will be exposed though, no headliner material.

I haven't mounted the other end yet, I was just holding it there. Haven't figured out the right spot for it, either.

Think the pillar mount makes better sense.

Make sure you plate the inside of the B pillar if you go that route, so the mount doesn't pull through if it is ever needed. I thought about that mount there, and I think I even had pictures of a Pig from Oz w/ seatbelts mounted there, but I did not trust my ability to plate in there.
