Looking good Ron.
If you end up with an extra set of that door handle rubber I would buy a set from you.

Thanks Guys, starting to address some of things I've been putting off for too long. The painter seems to be going to town on the doors, so I better hurry up.

J Mack, I'm going to hang on to some of the extras, at least for now.

Thanks Guppie!

This isn't over yet. I forgot to mount the computer. This AC has a computer :bang:. I don't know how to set my alarm clock, much less the AC. I blame J Mack for getting me into this. :) Made another little bracket to mount off the other one. Tucked up and out of the way. If I was thinking, could of made all as one .

The powder coater and the UPS guy, love me!

Alright, I went all out for you guys and hired a professional, Hollywood type of model, for these pictures. :moon: The first couple are where the seat belt will lay across my neck, if I use the mount I welded for the roof supports. It is some what closer to the driver than the stock hole.

The second set of pictures are where I could mount the seat belt and how it lays across my chest. I like the feel of this position a lot better. I don't like the feel of the belt on my neck, but I want it to work, if need be.

What is everybody's opinion on this, need to finish the body.

I know you all want to see the model again, but here's some of how the shifter turned out, in relation to the driver's leg.

And a couple of the finished drawers.

For what it's worth, I welded in some nuts at about the same location on the pillar as your second picture. I'm not fully committed to that spot, but just in case. We have a newer Nissan that has the shoulder harness mounted on the pillar and is pretty comfortable there. Of course it also has air bags.

Guys,

I was thinking the same, just weld in the mounts on the pillar and I'll decide later. Mine will be exposed though, no headliner material.

I haven't mounted the other end yet, I was just holding it there. Haven't figured out the right spot for it, either.

Think the pillar mount makes better sense.

Make sure you plate the inside of the B pillar if you go that route, so the mount doesn't pull through if it is ever needed. I thought about that mount there, and I think I even had pictures of a Pig from Oz w/ seatbelts mounted there, but I did not trust my ability to plate in there.
