MY DAD TURNED 100 TODAY !!! May 26, 1921

We couldn't see him for his 99th because of the Covid lockdown, but made it this year. He's been in the Missouri Veteran's Home since he's been 89 with Alzheimer's. After losing his wife in 1990 he lived alone for 20 years until he couldn't manage anymore. He was awarded two purple hearts in WWll after being shot through both feet and almost losing his right arm to an explosion, recovered and went back to work for 42 years.

I'm so proud to present my Dad,

Ron, your Dad is a true American Hero! 2 Purple Hearts and went back to work after 42 years!! He's one tough Son of a Gun and everyone in your family should beaming with Pride! Tell your Dad Thank you for his service and he is a True HERO and Happy 100th birthday Amazing we Love you all.

Thanks guys, my dad is very special to me not because he was the greatest dad or gave us the most stuff, etc. He worked two jobs for most of our early years, so we were on our own a lot, but when we needed him he was there never letting us down. Like they say today, he had our backs.

I just wanted to share with you a perfect day for me. After 100 years he still knows who I am, can't ask for more than that.
