I had them on a 4” lift but don’t believe you need them on a 2 1/2
Mine needed exactly 4* on my old setup and my D’bagginson’s put me at the same place initially, measured for 4*.

Consequently, my 62, which was a lift, needed exactly 4* as well.

Also, one of the best things I did for stability in steering aside from toe in which you’ll need to address as well.

You think it's needed on a 2.5" lift?
@cruiseroutfit is that something you guys stock?

Absolutely, and they are generally included in the kits where necessary. I'll take a peak at your kit when I'm at the shop tomorrow.

2° Aluminum (made by Old Man Emu)

2° Steel (Bolt-In)

4° Steel (Bolt-In)

6° Steel (Bolt-In)

Thanks Kurt, I shot an email over to Chance asking the same question.

Let me know.

There is a very simple way to measure for this that may seem like voodoo at first. I’ll bet we can even anticipate what you might need based on where you are now and what kit you’re getting.

You really don’t want to be be going in there more than you have to for several reasons, mainly because it kind of sucks without a lift.

Add Toe In and you’ll have a new truck.

For those asking if you “need” caster correction shims with a 2.5” kit.

I say yes. Toyota only gives you 1* positive caster stock.

Any mod and you lost the Tiny bit of positive caster you had.

4* is great. 3* is good. Whatever you end up with it will track better than no caster shims.

For what it is worth...we have a 2-1/2" OME medium lift (from Cruiser Outfitters; thank you Kurt). Went back later and added the 4* shims and noticed an improvement in the road manners. Had to drill the spring packs for a larger pins.
