I’m fairly certain there was a bad batch of 40 springs that went out, I know of at least 2 sets that were sold, one to me and one to a close friend who I’ll let decide if he wants to be known here. Unfortunately, I didn’t get my springs from Kurt because I’m dumb. Still very much kicking myself for that. Both the vendor and Dobinson’s neglected to do anything beyond make useless or dangerous suggestions.

I’m pretty sure the OP is referring to a different thread where I spelled much of my woes out along with my fellow friend doing the same. In fact, he has had further issues that mirror some of mine.

As of now I have a $1,000 worth of trash attached to my truck and as far as I’m concerned Dobinson’s can gobble a bucket of (use your imagination).

Yikes, that's bad news and while I'm confident we would have been able to assist with a solution... I'm glad bad springs not come from us at the same time.

Kurt, you definitely would have given the situation a serious look.

Looks great. Do you recall what height lift you have? That is the kind of clearance I am looking for.

If I remember correctly, 3".

I have a Dobinson lift on my LJ and OME on my FJ Cruiser.

No complaints about any of them.

If I was doing this today, I would contact Cruiser Outfitters, Specter and Cool Cruisers of Texas and take the best deal.

Kit ordered. I'll post back here with my results.

Right on

Do let us know if you have any questions as the parts arrive and/or you are installing. The kit will ship with an install note doc that discusses spring placement, etc. Thanks again!

Not sure what kit you got or if you were already running caster correction shims but you might want to snag a set of 4* (seems to be what the majority of us use) shims and some longer pins.

Definitely nicer to put springs on once.

I don't know what those are. So, they aren't in the order.

What are they for?
