Nothing like waiting until the last minute.
At least my trucks mostly built this year.

What trail is this
Black bear…prior to that shot, the green 40 stalled with three tires on the ground. Starter in Rev to reset line and then through. Tense moment for @bhardy78

Summer camping/SAS checklist items getting knocked out over here. The 40 isn’t happening this year - just now ordering wire to rebuild the harness and haven’t touched the motor, cooling system, brakes, or anything else - so 60 it is. As usual. List is pretty short this year, unlike last year where we rebuilt and installed a 2F about two weeks before SAS.

Done: (edited with additions)
Four new progressive bump stops with spacers for the right length
Fridge acquired and wiring, power jack, & custom power cable done
80 Series alternator installed
Knuckles rebuilt
New rear shackles & bushings
Valve adjustment
Carb adjustment
Oil change (probably another before we go too)
Rear brakes rebuilt
New parking brake cable

Need to do:
Install some tie down tracks for the fridge
Change the air filter
Rotate tires (don’t want to embarrass myself in front of @Flatlanderfj40)
Maybe build a small storage thing/platform for the back? (I’m not sold on the idea, it seems a little too “overlandy”)

My response to your call:

Done:
- relocate spare to back from under. Need folks to know I travel overland as opposed to other means. Also, need somewhere to hang my trasheroo.
- rebuild (better than before but worse than great) my power steering gear box.
- oil galley plug… finally.
- exhaust manifold and plenum gaskets
- fuel injectors “tested and cleaned”
- exhaust leak at down pipe, x 2 donuts.

To do:
- replace the replacement alternator from last year with the new reman (thanks B!)
- fuel pump
- diff fluids.
- aux lights since I’m not doing a locker.

A bunch of trailer improvements.

Reminds me...

I need a new fire extinguisher and washer fluid.
