alright, so I get that a lifted 80 isn't the most ideal vehicle for drifting. high COG yadda yadda yadda. But give the kid a break!

Forget the wrong vehicle how about brand new MT tires. Don't we get these tires for grabbing the terrain?
Throw these on your cruiser next time....

Hey, we've all done stupid crap before but for me it was never at this level.

This is right up there with "forgetting to pull out". Both could have life altering possibilities for quite a few people.

Be careful out there.

I don't know. I definitely did stuff in the cruiser when I was younger that should have resulted in a similar catastrophe, but just happened not to. So I've definitely done stuff that was stupid "at this level." However, being called out for doing something stupid doesn't justify whining about disrespect.

FJason ummmm...... from your pics it looks like YOUR the tool! I have made misteaks, but that was just plain stupid, I hope you WERE drunk. sorry just not a sympathiser.

what are you 15 yet?

What, you didn't drive it home afterwards? :-)

One thing I found interesting in the recovery is when they put it back on all 4 with the cable. After he tilted it under tension, he let the clutch go and it fell to the ground....

Also interesting to watch the headlights blink when it hits the ground....

Major bummer dude! Glad everyone is relatively OK...any update on your kidney?

As locrwln1 stated...you and lakes (wet or dry) don't mix very well! You need to come out on some of our forays so we can keep an eye on ya ;).

Heal up...fix the rig...get back in da groove...Christmas tree cutting season is coming soon :D.

Take your s***-talking back to NAXJA. I heard they locked that place down so it can only inbreed now, no new blood. Guess you're trying to escape the inevitable retardation factor. :flipoff2:

Safari Ary...
Long time cheif...
Astounding to see you defending other kids with more money than common sense...
Have a nice day, feltching man-juice from your cellmate.

Hope all is well, and sorry about your A. Mater.

Alright, I didn't mean for this to turn into a bash jason sesh. By the age comment, I didn't mean that everyone should just bow down to the young people. I meant they should be treated fairly on this board. That is all. I'm really in no mood to argue with those who have "turned against me." I feel crappy, and to top it off I'm looking at a crushed land cruiser in my driveway. Feel free to flame me for flipping my truck.

way to live

hope you didn't loose that KFC coupon sitting on the dash

so what did your parents really say?

They aren't nearly as pissed as I thought they would be. It was more "I'm glad you are alive" and "Hopefully you've learned something." Which I definitely have. I think I'm going to start a poll to see if I should chop it, cage it or try to bend it back into shape.

Welcome to the "flat road roll club" although I wasn't doing drifts...I actually got pulled in by a small "drift'....:o

s*** happens...people need to get over with it...ya live...ya learn...ya rebuild and move on hopefully a bit smarter than before

Amen to that. Keep the drifting to Subarus.

Hey so I need some advice. Should I pull the spark plugs before trying to start it? It sat upsidedown (like a turtle, Skillet) for a good hour. What should I do?
