I've never done anything stupid when I was younger (well, that I would admit to anyways in public because it was really stupid stuff....but, as far as you know I've never done it ....wink wink, nudge nudge). :flipoff2:

Really though, I agree with most in saying it's freakin' retarded for people to be insulting this guy...."he who is without sin" as they say.

I still stand behind my statement that I was glad to see it wasn't in a populated area where someone could have been pinned underneath the 80 and killed while just walking down or across the street...now THAT would have been bad. Glad you're OK, glad your friends are OK, and now you've got a notch on your belt of stuff you probably shouldn't do anymore ;p:grinpimp: We all have learning experiences in our lives...some are just more interesting than others

I agree with the NAXJA comment...I was a member there for about a month and some of the people there should be killed on general principle alone. Not a good board, and the leadership over there is for s***

I'm really sorry to hear that. I was a NAXJA member for almost 3 years from '01-'04 and it seems the place has really taken a nose dive in the past 2-3 years. I saw it coming as I was making my exit, but I had really hoped it might take a turn for the better. I guess not. :frown:

But for the grace of God go each of us. When I was a young dumb@ss I did innumerable stupid things that were way stupider and more dangerous that slinging a Cruiser around in a pit. Should'a been killed/maimed/sterilized a hundred times, but here I am, not a scratch!. Thank you God for taking better care of me than I took of myself.

My question is how does a young guy get a kick@ss cruiser in the first place? They must be well off. That's the beauty of America right? BTW, I love the Kyle Brovlovski hair. We could hang out together and you could be Kyle and I could be Cartman, 'cept I'm 40 years old.......

Anyhoo, glad you guys are ok. It'll be a great story to tell one day.

No, it hasn't gotten any better....I really enjoyed that place for a few days, then saw how people on the B.O.D. were acting (some worse than some of the worst members)...so I was done with it. I'm pissed that I actually paid to become a member there...it was about $30 wasted in my opinion...and I still haven't gotten my membership stuff from UFWDA that's supposed to come with the paid membership to NAXJA....I paid for it back in February...bunch of tools. I'm sure they never sent that info off to UFWDA.

Oh well, hijack off...sorry for going off topic like that.

Thanks for most of your comments! And for motoloco, you're a tool.

I've decided it will be cheaper to keep the front windshield housing, and then add a cage then to fix the caved sunroof area. And for the record, I realize how retarded that stunt was. I hate all the disrespect this board gives to people under 25. Who is going to continue the Land Cruiser legacy when you are all screaming for nurses to change your catheter bags? Us. Start treating the younguns with respect.

 Now THAT was good. Well done.

For the record, Some of us aren't that old though...you'd be surprised. Then again, some of us are that old :grinpimp: Not me though, I'm only in my mid-30s (maybe to you that's old...I don't know ;)) ...so my rebellious youth is not that much of a distant memory for me. I still do stupid stuff...but only because I'm immature...but I'm fine with that ;p

Just please tell me you really learned a lot form this!

Glad that everyone is ok..................
And good luck on the rebuild

And , and , and, please be careful.

EDIT! I have found that you have to earn respect.................................................!!

Almost everyone has done something they regret later. Glad you and your buds are okay (kidney situation?).

Sounds like you have a plan to fix it. Good luck.

BTW: gotta earn respect . . .

You guys are looking at this all wrong:hillbilly:

1st gen 4Runner comes to mind.....I think you just got a nudge in the right direction.

Well, I just turned 25, so I should now have respect! :flipoff2:

For the stunt: We have all done stupid isht, I hope you learned your lesson (as most of us have). The ribbing is just part of it. Now if you do it twice, your fair game...

As for the Cruiser: Check out this link in Hard Core: https://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.php?t=157488. And/Or I'll trade you for mine and a couple thousand. (But hurry, mine will most likely be rolled soon... However mine will be a 2mph on the rocks!)

mmmmm... much to learn you have, i think.

Sell the cruiser get RWD vehicle to drift and join our SCCA So Cal group to run against Cobra Stang, Hamman BMW M5, Vennesey Viper, CompTech NSX, or RodMillen Supra :flipoff2:

Feel sorry for dat 80s :crybaby:

Sucks to see that happen.... but at least you are ok. Cars/trucks can be repaired... dead people are another story. Consider yourself lucky.

If it were me... I would buy this roof top and weld it on:
https://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.php?t=144223&highlight=80+roof

If not.... fix the windshield pillar to be able to install a new one.... and cut the roof off from the sunroof back if not even just behind the windshield. Full rollcage for sure.

Normally, I would offer a verbal beatdown in response to such a whiny, snot-nosed, crybaby post, but considering the circumstances, I'll just say that I'm glad you're okay.
