any info on how you zero'd out the mileage guage?

Yep, I bought one that way!!! :)
Two of the gauges were not working on my first one, never figured that out. So this replacement should do the trick! Haven't tested it tho...

Where did you find the gauge cluster? That's niicce...

Ah. Well, into the void then. Thanks much Greek! It's either that or a round gauge panel. Hoping to keep it original..

Received a custom wire harness from coolerman to mate my 76 harness to my 69 wiper motor. It is very nice! Here's some pics. It's made to go from the stock 76 split ends, all the way over and up to the motor.

Ooops! Coolerman man done messed up! :frown:

In the last photo the sharp eyed among you may have noticed that the two harness ends pictured won't plug up to each other. The 4 terminals on the left are for the wiper windshield harness and correctly match the OEM harness for a 69-71. The 4 terminals on the right are for the 76 wiper extension harness and correctly match the OEM 76 harness. Unfortunately , they don't match each other!

I will be sending him a solution to fix this ASAP. Don't want to hold up this build! ;)

Hard top sides installed. All gaskets installed. Got the ac all crimped and installed, as well as power steering.

Looks awesome!! I restored an early bronco some years ago and when I got the truck it had 99996 miles on the odometer. I felt it was my destiny to restore it:D.

Keep the pics coming!!

Ooops! Coolerman man done messed up! :frown:

It's like Lexus says Coolerman....."the pursuit of perfection." I'm sure I'll be hitting you up for a harness when I'm at the point of putting my project back together.

Rear hatch, tire carrier, couple hard top pieces in primer. 3 coats of PPG 2k on top of one coat of epoxy! Rattle can spots. 600 sand after each coat. Getting closer!

Should be in paint tonight! This is the last of the parts that get Dune Beige.

Rear hatch and carrier painted and test fitted. Still needs color sand and buff.everything fit well, however the 33 inch bfg mud tire needs a spacer to be able to mount. Is there a kit for this?

Greek, what kind of hardware did you end up using for your doors? Rig looks great!

I went with stainless on all external fasteners, and yellow chromates zinc on the interior. Seemed to make sense. And thanks!

Roof top has been restored. Needed to do a small amount of welding on two spots to fill in on a crack, grinded and primed. Chased all the threads. One thing I could not believe was only one bolt was broke off in the drip rail. Drilled that out and rethreaded all the holes. Primed with PPG 2k surfacer, then shot three coats of PPG urethane shell ivory.

Got the new rear hatch handle installed. Thought I was missing the inner stay piece but I found it! Installed new lock as well.
Also installed new ccot shackles. 1.5 inch versions.
