Looks great! How did that license plate bracket work out?

It was very nice! Thank you! Bolted right up.

Very nice job! Man, I've been lurking here again lately, it's been a few years since my beautiful 74' got totaled...I just restored an old BMW, but, damn, I miss my FJ!!! Wish I could buy this one and be done with it! :-)

This is easily one of the finest restorations i've seen. Love the results and classic desert dune color combo.

This is much needed tutorial & true inspiration for my forthcoming FJ55 restoration.

Enjoy the ride, you've earned it !!

Happy wheeling:clap:

Almost completely complete...

Also, sorry for the questions but do you have a part number for the mirror arms? Want to use those same exact ones.

Sent from my iPhone using IH8MUD

Here you go!
These are the heads, CCOT sells the arms.

Stellar Results

An absolutely stellar rebuild – enough to make one salivate at the final product. Also, drop me a line as I am hoping to get that carburetor from you! Steve :bounce:

Rear axle is getting completely rebuilt at LandCruisersNW. New diff, bearings, seals the nine yards. Turned out the pinion had movement and with some miles, the rear bearings made some noise.

They will also be doing a complete inspection and make sure all is nice and tight!
