O.K. Official NRA target going back on! Did the carb tuning, runs good at idle, good vac, 2 minute drive it cuts out (WTF) Restarts with choke even though warm, but need to drive with it choked, just to get back home. Fuel starvation? Electrical? WTF else??? Getting ready to load .45 Auto .

I know the feeling. Usually turns out to be some .22 caliber issue rather than .45. A little bourbon neat or on the rocks tonight will clear your head for a fresh start tomorrow.

Yes, these filters are notoriously bad at filtering small particles that will plug fuel transfer passages.

Used to run mine before the fuel pump down on the passenger side.

See pic. I have another filter but its the same. Going in anyway

Took fuel filter out. Installed fuel pressure gauge and new line. Barely getting 3 psi. Gonna order new filters and install electric fuel pump by the tank see if that fixes the bogging issue.

Will update when udder gets installed. It still cut out on me but seemed better after that. Bought Earls billett luminumb filtraitors 100 microons . Edelbrock lectric gas pusher. Hopefully that fix it .
