O and for the people who don't understand the name of the tread.
First one is during work,
Second one when done................

Heck Michael!

In many ways I think I'm better off working on mine outside in the weather.

It must be a real pain moving stuff around in order to work on yours in there and it must be ultra-hard avoiding setting fire to all your junk (which would no doubt set fire to your home too ... but of course the home will be of secondary importance ).

And I mean no offence by using the word "junk". I'm just trying to conform to what I'll bet those around you call it. I REALLY DO know it is all valuable treasure.

I find a light coating of rust (when I'm working on my panels outside) is very good for paint-adhesion.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks, it is not as bad as it looks.
I have the big stuff in the back so when I take that outside there is enough room to work.
It takes about 10 minutes to get on it.
Working outside would not work in our climate and the neighbours would not apreciate it.
Once the big things are done a lot can go to storage.

A few hours into the cruiser today.
Some parts are welded in now.
Next step is getting rid of the temp body support and get the permanent one in.
Next is the reinforcement at the inside front of the fender, and then finaly weld in the fender.

Keep up the good work Michael. I continue to be amazed.

How much would you charge to make the extended rear fenders? Just the section circled in yellow (sorry for the magnificent display of E-art that is produced from using Microsoft Paint).

To many hours go into these fenders to produce them.
And if that wouldn,t kill the deal the shipping would.
Maybe Kevin, Awl Teq can make them.:hhmm:

Yoe still need the equipment to make them.
All the info is already in the tread, and there is a dedicated tread too.
If you want specific's I'd be happy to help on any questions.

Love it. I have the very same issue except it was a two car garage. Nothing beats rolling tires out of the way to get to something in the garage. Or storing all your stuff in the cruiser.

Like I say, you can only work on one section at a time.
It will be more interesting when the tub comes off!:hhmm:
Still planning on a rotissery that fits over the rolling chassis.

Watching this build reminds me of when I built my floor... It took a few months. The challenge was... it wasmy DD and I was working full time. Just shows what a motivated cruiser head can do.:D

This is not my DD I'm happy to say, I mean it hasn't even run yet. I like the build an learning new things, this actualy is my first big sheet metal project. Have some idea's on the mechanical/electrical part after this is done.
