Looking forward to seeing it in person! ;)

that would have been nice ...however....schedules dont line up and i just cant swing it now...really wanted to bring the kids...i would only be able to make it there late sat night and have to leave the next morning...and it would just be me......soooo ....again this year I SUCK...i will not be able to get to FG :frown:

i have been swamped with side jobs...we are in the process for starting another adoption...and we NEED the $$...you would think with the recession and all these kids would be free :meh:

i was clearing some land for a friend...we put some logs off to the side for me to cut up for winter...at least i got some pics for you viewing pleasure

the 1st pic is about 1/10th of the area that we cleared...getting the land ready to sell.

the 2nd pic is my ol un-trusty mcculloch...hate that thing...i really need a new CS ...it overheats...the chain tightens to the point of stalling the engine...and its always a PITA to start after its been running awhile...and as you see here the chain pops sometimes when its loose ...

need to keep it loose ...very loose for the 1st 5 min...then it tightens right up....but sometimes it pops just before getting tight :)

i have gotten use to the garbage ...just need to make sure i prep alot of logs and just keep going till it quits :D...when i'm done loading then on my trailer...its cooled down enough to run again

Extend that gate a bit on the bradley to make a built in ramp and you'd have a great 4-wheel hauler (if it's long and wide enough).

thanks....when i keep the stake rack on the gate it acts as a ramp...thats why i usually keep that plywood in the trailer ...i put that over for added strength....it holds well to mowers and wheelbarrows full of stone :D

the bed is 4x6...not too bad a size

Sweet is right...love the pics Johnny...great set-up you have there

Can someone antique the first pic for me ;)

seems like the only time i'm using the camera is when i'm chopping wood

a good father son time :) however...you cant see him too well...but...he's doing the stacking inside the trailer. its about time they are at an age to start hard manual child labor :D

Headers got some holes in it...have an oem manifold gasket coming... and picked up a used header (thanks BigRedFJ40 ;) )

the good thing is that he made it pto complient...too bad i have no pto

kinda on the rusty side...had some Acid Majic left over...decied to shoot it with it after the wire wheeling didnt get all that much off.

1st pic is after wire wheel
2nd pic after squirt 3 times 8 minutes between each
3rd pic is after 5 more squirting with about 10 minutes between

used my old metal blast bottle to spray it down filled with the acid majic...not too many fumes...it says it will not burn the skin...however...i did wear gloves LOL

I am going cheap...just cant afford the $$$ for ceramic...wish i did.

I am going to use VHT Flame Proof header paint...seems if you follow their curing steps...it holds up really well...time will tell

DD and lots of winter driving will give it a good test

VHT FlameProof™ Coating

havent done the header yet...i've been getting supplies for a few other things to be done at the same time....like installing a heat valve...it will be the 1st time in 18 years that i will be able to turn off the water from circulating thru the cab...it will be so useful to not have heat for the 60 days its nice in the upper north east :D

Thanks All :)

I have been thinking of how to tackle two problems...one was a cup holder and one was in interior light for the back seats.

came up with a simple cup holder w/sun glasses holder...kinda simple...but...function before form :)

I used it on my header maybe 4 or 5 years ago. I was pretty lazy about prep. Just taped off everything in the engine bay, wire brushed, wiped down, and sprayed the best I could. I've been pleased with how it's held up considering how little effort I put in to it. takes the heat fine.

Just read your complete post, Congrats on an excellent job, great cruiser!

X 2! Definitely inspiring for my current "economy" build. I haven't been around for a while. Am I crazy, or not paying attention. Didn't your wheels used to be white? Trying to decide which I like better for the 72. They both look nice.

Good job putting those kids to work! Builds "character". :D I've had the girls helping me in the yard and garden this spring. Nice to have some help around here! :bang:.....
