One of my local customers. Patrick lusts after the wheels every time he's at the shop🤣

I figure one of these days he's going to get tired of me asking and just let me put that truck on blocks. :deadhorse:

My wheels are so banged up and the 40th wheels are specific with the grayed out '"Ds" so hard to find. That's what I get for buying a truck that lived its first 60k miles in Chicago. :bang:

This is a huge week for me. The 1 year anniversary of my divorce being final is tomorrow, my birfday is Friday, and the project I've been working on since the beginning of February is on to the next phase! I closed on my house today! The next step is to move in. It's going to take a couple weeks of working around my schedule, but It'll be done by the end of March.
Posted a couple pictures of the garage, because people like pictures...
Also, the flagpole out front already got the Texas flag raised.

Congrats! Except for the Tejas flag...
We'll expect a garage/house warming invite...
Did you check to see if the 80 will fit in the garage? I'm thinking it's a tight fit, at least.

I'll have to take off the roof rack before I even try getting the 80 in.
I'll have a party sometime either later this month or when the weather warms up. I'll have to stock up on drinks first, this group can put a serious dent in my collection.

Wrapped up the White Knuckle slider install finally...went for a joy ride to celebrate that and the nice weather.

return home immediately notice coolant dumping out....yayyyy. Doesn’t appear to be the radiator or hoses. Seems to be coming down the front of the block so I’m pretty sure it’s the water pump. Temp
spiked a little but not much.

@Stumpalama I might have to take you up on that trailer offer after all. Still need to research if this is a viable parking lot project for me. 🤦🏼‍♂️

Little things today since the weather was nice.
Dropped factory gas tank skid to get ready to put the -BudBuilt back on, removed trailer pin harness to replace, and replaced the weather strip trim on the doors. Also started painting another set of rear lca skids

Finally got my skids and sliders installed this weekend, changed out my diff and transfer case fluids, and added a breather extension for the rear diff. Still need to paint my lower link skids and get those put on as well. Still to do is replace the trans fluid and PS fluid and then suspension hopefully this summer

in prep to rent my old house I sold my pool. A crew cam and tore it down and hauled the deck away. Very sketchy!!

@1MOA I'm not sure but it looks like maybe the mounting plate was welded to the bumper upside down? From the one image showing the backside of the bumper, it looks as if there is an opening for a fairlead or roller assembly that could be mounted if the opening was positioned above the bumper rather than into the back of it? No expert, but my thoughts (see doctored image below):

Poorly photoshopped example of flipping the assembly upside-down:
