They had it in stock. The part number is 00544-24060-575. Just be careful not to get 00544-24F60-575. Positive is on the wrong side. Ask me how I know haha

Stock for now. And oh wow, I didn't know the stock is only 40amps. I guess it's not powering much but I planned on adding a winch at some point.

I looked up the thermostat housing gasket, part #16341-60010. NLA but supposedly superseded by 16341-60020.
Close, but not close enough. I was able to locate the same gasket on an old Toyota forklift that seems to still be available but I still have some gasket material so I whipped one up.
Lower housing gasket seems to be the same between the early and later style though.

I don't know how visible it is in this photo but I didn't like how the rubber was deformed here so I ordered up a new one.
Also ordered up the upper gasket since I couldn't tell from the thermostat part number if it was included. It was not, so I'm glad I did.
It looks the part. Fifty bucks though. Ouch.
All buttoned up.

I have a chevy alternator…. Soon to be Toyota again.
I think I may have a later style alternator bracket. I need about 3/8" of shims to make this work and I think I found out why.
The later style pump is thicker.
I guess I'll be hunting down one of these.

I have a feeling both of our top alternator adjustment brackets have been bent/modified a bit. I may have an extra stock one. Let me go look.

Under the catagory of 'This is why we make notes!' Poured the coolant in, went to get in the truck to start it up and, what's this? I still have a wire tag reminder hanging from the steering wheel. Yup. Little baggie under the front bumper with a new set of hardware...waiting to be installed...

While I deal with my alternator bracket woes, I decided to rebuild the fuel pump. I was going to wait on this until after I got it running but when I pulled the old oil filter it smelled of gasoline. I wanted to rule out the pump.
Here it is all grimy.
It cleaned up nicely.
I bought a kit from @Cruiser Cult. It's an excellent kit and did the job perfectly.

The kit came with all the necessary parts to completely rebuild your pump.
But this is the piece I was after.
My pump was nice and clean inside which was surprising after replacing the clear line and filter. No signs of fuel leaking past the pump though.
Here it is all rebuilt and installed.

I forgot to mention that the fuel pump bolt holes are open and go right into the block. Add some sealant to the threads.

I'm trying to replicate what is circled here. I have all the parts including a replacement for the busted fitting that I think started PO down the path of this later water pump conversion.
But I need to get this brass elbow out of the busted one. it's pretty much seized into place. No amount of heat or beatings will free it. And it's pretty beat up already.
This is what I started with and where I was able to salvage the extra fitting from.
I was really worried that PO had just jammed some SAE or whatever they could source pipe fittings into place but I was pleasantly surprised to see that they actually sourced some metric thread Japan made stuff!

Are you just looking for an elbow, or a specific elbow designed to incorporate a shutoff valve?
I am fairly certain I DO have the one with the HEX feature with the FEMALE threads inside the HEX feature

Have a 1/2 “ hose bib as I designed them for a FJ60 / late FJ40 oil cooler option / rear heater hose tap / shut off summer option
you can simply step it up to a 5/8 “ needed size spec. hose with a copper reducer fitting as well
