@wngrog Is the Land o Lakes spread part of your patina preservation process?
Both. Memories of dust, Savannah’s, wildebeast, lions, hyenas, giraffe, spring bock, oryks, etc. sometimes the big cats climb into the truck bed and hang. Some trucks had the arb style bumper with a seat attached for the scout.Looks like @ceylonfj40nut is back in Africa! Either him, or Mr. Potato.
Doing some more work on the paint, going for a polished patina look

I kind of want to patina my front bezel, but I don’t know how much I should do, if I even do it at all. I either want to do one of these:

how are you getting "rid" of the dune beige? I have a '73 that needs a coat of paint gently removed...

Great job! i am about to dive into my patina project (still sitting in NJ) aptly named "Tina" the interior is the first color to remove, and I may just try what you used. What grit Scotchbrite pad did you use?
