Dad picked this up going to get it cleaned up for him. Paint is really good so might just go right to a buff/polish but will try CLR first to get the chalkiness off

I was kind of jealous of all the great patina trucks on here so I picked up my own to tinker with. I'm pretty sure there is some great dune beige OE patina below all this green, as represented by the hood and fenders. The interior has cleaned up very well so far. I've always liked the early trucks for the bib lights, now I have my own! The 35's are going away (dry rotted :( ) in lieu of some factory steel wheels and 33x10.5's as is the common equation here for these trucks.

Dunno, but I know it is a factory dune beige truck. The green was a respray by a previous owner at some point in time.
 
I don't know if I've posted on the thread previously or not, but here's a shot of my nearly stock '76 FJ40 on Lonesome Dove at MERUS Adventure Park earlier this year - at the first annual Land Cruiser Unite. It has a mini-truck/Tercel power steering upgrade and an H41/3-speed transfer case combination. Only ~67,000 miles and original suspension, will be ordering an OME suspension kit from Cruiser Outfitters this week.

PS. A lot of Hiluxes of that era here in Greece but, like in other european markets, equipped with the tiny 12R (1,600 cc) engine...
