these early Fs are very different in how they mount, so if I do replace this one I will have to find another early version............. you don't seem to have faith in my cast iron welding skills :grinpimp:

Well I have the manifold from the 2f I just took apart. Don't know if it would work on an f

The ATL crew will be running up to the trails on the highway on Friday morning on CB4 and FRS3.

Once we join the rest of the crew we may switch up as needed/told to us by those that we meet up with! :)

Green Cove is out of gas. Make sure you fill up in Murphy or Tellico Plains. If you have a can bring it.

And don't forget to bring some mountain money!

Thanks Marshall...getting my jerry can out from behind the shelf today!

Got 450 wings. That is a lot. I hope ya'll are hungry.

They are fresh hillshire farms and will need to be cut apart. I'll be looking for volunteers to help in the cooking.

Whoaaaa - big thanks - I wasn't going to pack the extra tanks!!!!

Marshall - not to sound dumb for not reading thru all the posts - but I'm heading straight for McNabb - is that where it's still at...

I'll be mega tired by tomorrow morning and it's just so easy to hit that first left that runs along the krik and is a nice flat shot to McNabb... I can pull in and be ready to wheel - or will kick back for a nap. Stoked to be committed to getting up there for this :bounce:.

I've found (the cove used to be closed in winters) that a full tank fill-up in Tellicao Plains can get me through a weekend of wheeling and then back to Tellico Plains easily. I brought extra gas twice and all it did was stink up the inside of my wagon for weeks afterwards.... and I never even used the gas. I no longer bring cans to.
If you know you need it then bring it, but I never have and I only get 10mpg in my rig.

You're not wheeling hard enough :D. But yes, I'm fuel injected and DUI'd and get near 20mpg sometimes - so I don't have to fill up no where near as often as most other folk - but then again my tank is only like 14 gallons....

We'll have to tell you the famous "Green" Green Cove gas story - knocked CaptJim's 40 out of action for a whole week once...

I am bringing a can of gas and leaving it in camp...I figure I can run close to empty if I have to then tank up to get out and get more gas...
